The only thing I've broken was my pinky toe in 2005 after I accidentally whammed it into the metal leg of a chair while running across a room; otherwise, I permanently fractured my tailbone attempting to roller skate as a kid.

Now - am I the only one who has never once been stung by a wasp or bee? I intend to keep it that way.
I made up for you.
Got stung by more flying monsters than I can count- bees, wasps, hornets, mosquitoes, I'm a magnet for stingers.

The worst case, I was 14, a friend and I were walking in the woods, and I stepped on some twigs and branches. I heard this subterranean buzz, and a whole nest of wasps attacked me (they don't like it when you step on their house). Got some twenty stings on the insides of my legs.
Believe it or not, my grandmother came up with this magical potion of oatmeal, witch hazel, aloe, and mothballs for all I know. But took the sting out and the swelling went away.

That same year, our 8th grade science teacher had a working beehive that produced a massive amount of honey. A few brave souls went out to see how these industrious creatures work.
At one point, I took off my glove and had bees crawling all over my hand.
Did not get stung. Bees can smell fear, and if you show fear, you're gonna get stung. One classmate wasn't so lucky.

But bees are stoners too. Give them enough smoke and they just sit around all mellow. Put on some Grateful Dead and make a day out of it.

Apparently. It takes a lot more for me to go all Hulk over something, lol.

Now I'm picturing an anthramorphic bee smoking weed with some random pot head with just a cloud of smoke hovering over by.

This sounds like some kind of Family Guy joke right there.

For some reason, now I'm picturing @D'Snowth turning into the incredible hulk and then smashing buildings just from hearing the word "coconut."

I think you can tell my mind is just all over the place. :stick_out_tongue:
Since you brought it up, here's an example of me Hulking out over something from years and years and years ago, when deviantART changed their layout without warning and I didn't like it (and this can count for pretty much anytime YouTube does the same thing):

Of course, I'm barely active on deviantART anymore, and they've changed their layout a few more times since then, so I'm just "meh" about it all.

I usually just favorite stuff on DA, and I'll even go as far as saying I've favorited some... Well, pornographic drawings (at least reasonable ones; don't judge me), but I have posted my fair share of drawings, including Muppet ones that I may eventually show off on here at some point.

I haven't had much of a desire to draw lately, though. :smirk:

Do you just draw? Or is it more than just that?

The only reason I got involved with deviantART in the first place (and almost ten years ago, at that), was because I was part of a Chipmunks fan site that hosted fan content such as fan art, ficfics, and what have you; however, the webmistress was always too busy to maintain the site regularly, so most everyone else took to dA to share their stuff and kept urging me to do the same, which I eventually did, and . . . I actually became pretty popular in that fandom with my fan art, lol.

That was then though. The main reason I'm not even active on dA much anymore is simply because there's hardly anyone there anymore: dA, much like YouTube, seems to be catering more to the members that put money in their pockets and such, and a lot of other people on there have pretty much just moved on to other things like tumblrs or their own art sites, or just lost interest altogether.

I've been strung at least three times. Once was trying to get a ball that rolled into the trees and plants between my neighbor's yard. Another time my dad and I were going for a walk in the woods and a wasp stung my arm. Oh man, was I not happy that day. :stick_out_tongue:

The last time I ever got stung was in late 2003 when I was 10 and starting 4th grade. I was out with friends walking in the woods and my friend Derek stepped on a bee's nest. Unfortunately for him, he had to go to a hospital because he was allergic to bee stings.
I was surprised bees and wasps would have their nests on the ground. Usually they're under the eaves of roofs, in dead trees, some place where there is some semblance of cover.

And abandoned houses! Seen a number of videos where vacant buildings become home to swarms of stingers.

I'm all for bees. They serve a necessary function for pollinating plants, growing flowers and vegetables, and serve a vital use in nature.
If someone can tell me what good wasps and hornets do, I'm curious to know. Convince me they're not pests.

Nothing. Even Billy the Exterminator said they're nothing but little bullies.
