Just thought i'd take a few pics of my Animal - only just got him outa the box to have a look before putting him away into storage for proper future display, so it aint a great hair day for him, lol, but just for fun, and like people haven't already seen loads of waaaayy better Animals - here they are -

I like him a lot, detail is amazing - though i don't find him easy to pose - those arms seem to just flop anywhere, but i'm getting the hang of it. The hair is another question entirely - i think you guys must be there for days grooming him. Oh and i don't like the eyes really wide in person, i kinda like them half way between the way he comes and wide eyed. Sorry the pics are a bit dark, only had my camera phone to use and it didnt have a flash. I have to hand it to the people on this forum (Jamie and Antony especially) who have taken some fantastic pictures of theirs - it's not until you try it that you realise it takes so much dedication to get perfect!

Great pictures Luke. :halo: I agree with you on the eye pose. The extreme wide stance a few have pinned his eyes into tends to cause Animal to appear strange and doll-like in my opinion. Coloring the brow seam really does help too. The hair settles down. Dampening your fingertips with water can help you tame his mane just so. But those are some great out of the box photos. My Animal didn't look so hot right out of the box. :zany:

I posted this in the other thread, but I guess no one saw it, so I'm posting it here, too.

I finally got around to taking pictures of my Animal... and here's one for your dining and dancing pleasure!

Hi Guys

I've just received my animal and just have a few questions (apologies if these have already been covered).

1. In regards to the tongue, is there a good foam replacement to buy from anyone that's ready to insert?

2. In regards to pinning the eyes back at bit, where is the best place to do this exactly and would you recommend a particular type of pin for this?

3. For any people from the UK where can I get a silver neck chain and silver bands/cuffs?

Thanks

OMG! Animal's such a rockstar. :halo:

I posted this in the other thread, but here's a recent photo I shot today of Animal. I've made tweaks here and there trimming etc over the months and I think he's a good compromise on the variety of different Animal puppets they used over the years. I still want to trim him a bit more.
