i know i messed up on some of it

i look around
and once again im on my own
my man in here
hes gone he done me wrong
no ones gonna stop this girl from having fun
i throw my hands up high and have a party for one

im having a me party
a party by myself
a me party
i dont need nobody else
having a me party
im the first and last to show
theres no one at this party that i dont already know

im not gonna sit around
by myself and wait for you
haven't you heard moi vis in this to?
im gonna make a scene
im gonna make a fuss
tonight im gonna celebrate for just the one of us

im having a me party
i dont need no invitation
a me party
i just bored the conversation
me party
? dont know waht goes there lol
you do the math frog
it means im not with you

i wont lie there are times when i wish i was with you
theres days when the world are made for 2
at times i feel all alone and like nobody cares
but you only have to call my name and darling ill be there

im having a me party
haven't i seen you here before
a me party
im the last one on the dance floor
me party
a party just for one
me party
just solo night frog
having a me party
im such great company
a me party
ill save the last dance for me

what happens at a me party
stays at a me party

The sad thing is, as much as people hate that song ... it's basically my life in a nutshell. :stick_out_tongue:

I am one of the select few who actually kind of enjoyed this number - there is always a "Piggy" moment in each movie and it often is in song, so I felt it was appropriate even if she had to share the moment with Mary. And it felt very 70's/80's retro in that scene so I kind of liked it.

I'm sure out of context in the movie, it doesn't work... but it fit well. It didn't drag the action of the film down to the grave for 4 minutes like "The Love is Gone" did. I know that was an important song that explained a sequence of the movie... but it was LOOOOOOOONG and slow. Plus, singing food items in Piggy's dressing room? Fun!

I don't mind this song but it didn't really fit into the whole movie. Amy Adams is lip-syncing (I think)
Plus the whole song felt wrong. And how Amy Adams is dancing is so sixtys

I will say the song felt kinda awkward in the context of the movie, but I agree with Drtooth in the fact that at least it was short and upbeat, unlike "The Love is Gone", which is slow and kinda boring.

I don't know if anyone else stayed for the whole credits but at the end they list the songs nad who wrote them and "Lullaby a Bird Land" is there!! I couldn't remeber anytime in the movie when they sing that or even in the backaround
