A> Nothing on my Comcast cable for 'Sprout'. Then again I dont and will not
pay for digtial cable. LOL!
B> I like a network that would have Maxdrive's schedule. I see you were
a fellow child of the 70s and enjoyed the Psychodelic toons.
I think at this time, I only have one person in mind:
* Rachel de Azevedo Coleman - Creator of Signing Times
Since Linda left, signing has gone down hill and slowly making a comeback
Rachel gives a learning ASL a swift kick in the behind and makes it easy
that even babies learn...
Just as a note for those who missed or did not know, "Miles" and "Gabby"
were at Sesame Place this past weekend (09-10-05).
I didn't reconize them at all in the 2:00 Parade down Main Street.
"Miles" seemed to have let his hair grow, stuffs it now under a baseball
cap. Nothing new on his...
Interesting fact, Sesame Place DOES NOT like ppl who wear shirts promoting
other Beer companies other then Anheuser-Busch.
While waiting for a Security check in on Saturday (09-10-2005 @ 12:30 PM), I heard the Main Security Gaurd instruct the other Security Guards to offer anyone who is...
Editing Sesame Street!?
First they edit the old MGM Cartoons (droopy, ect), then censors get ahold of the WB Cartoons (Bugs bunny, etc).
Now your telling me that they edited Sesame Street? I for one thought they
would edit the Three Stooges first. If they did that the Stooges would be
cut...
It will be interesting..
A. If that list is real deal.
and
B. If they local PBS station (WHYY) decides to show all of them.
Right now WHYY showed the Episode 36 opener this morning, and when
they start re-runs, they get into a real bad rutt on re-runs.
Very cool place!
Its great to go during the weekdays prior to Summer and in the Fall. Not to many crowds.
Also if you local to Sesame Place, invest into a Season Pass, gives you
unlimited park entries! Which allows you to also avoid the long lines at
the ticket stands.
The Count's...
Gumby?
I'm not liking the sounds of this new Ernie and Bert gig.
They should stay as mupptesm rather then clay.
I do belive this is one of the 'worst' transactions in history, right up
there with the live action movie "The Flintsones", "Josie and the
Pussycats" (*barf!*)...
WHYY - Reruns?
Yeah I was disapointed this morning to find the season opener was playing.
I hope WHYY does not go into their "re-run rut".
They did that with season 35, it was to the point, that it seemed they
only played the same five episodes each week, just mixed them around.
Box Sets.... yuk!
Box Sets of things (dvd and music) suck IMHO. You get one or two good things and the rest is garbage. I rather have the SS DVDs seperate, that way they are cheaper and I can pick and choose what to purchass.
BTW, also the earlier episodes, Big Bird had a thiner head then he...
Here's my list ..
10. Ladybug Picnic
09. The Captial I (we all live)
08. Lower Case N (standing on a hill)
07. Typewritter Guy
06. The Counting Segment (1....*woosh*..2..*woosh*...3..*woosh*)
05. Swami Counting (sitar music... very trippy)
04. Pinball Song...
Yes!
Thats the one know after reading it... yes it was not Bert and Ernie, but it's the "Classic" Bert that I enjoy remembering (and hopefuly watching again soon).
Thanks for the memory jog.
And another thing
Its good to see the Muppets interacting with the kids again like on the Classic
series. The one kid with I think Telly, looked like a dead ringer for the '16 TEEN!' kid from the 70s with Kermit.
Yes!, I about fell off my chair, when I saw The King Of 8 played a few days...
