Muppets at the El Capitain in Hollywood

I know there are just a few more days left of this, but if you live in LA its well worth the trip to hollywood. The highlight for me was they did a sing a long, with Kermit and Piggy, who were puppets being preformed. Anyone know who preformed them in this? I Know its Steve and Eric's voice...

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

There is nothing more or less offensive then what was in "Its A Very Merry Muppet Christmas" in fact i'd say the use of the innuendos was more over the line then anything you see in this film. The thing is with the ratings board the way they are now, all of the Jim erra "The Muppet Movies"...

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

Also another thing that needs to be mentioned is the level of homage paid to Jim Henson in this film. You see his face several times in the film, including on a few light polls on Hollywood Blvd, which were actually on Hollywood Blvd for some time. I also if you look close you can see a cameo...

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

I have to say, I absolutely positively loved “The Muppets.” It had the charm of the original movies, without the splenda sweatiness or going over the top ness some of the more recent Muppet projects have had. Many of the early concerns about that Segal and his crew were going to take this I the...

ABC News Video: Jason Segel, Muppet Savior

Phill, Wayne and Wanda are in "The Muppets." I'm pretty sure he is one of us ;-)

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

By Underperformed i mean that the money they invested in the theatrical run they did not recoup. Tangled for example, which i loved it was the best Disney Animation Studios movie since The Lion King, cost north of 260 million to make and probably around 100 million for what are called Prints and...

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

Yes, it is the Jim Henson Studios. By involvement I mean by the creative end and creature shop building the puppets. As someone who works in the entertainment industry I can tell you its quite common for companies to use other companies facilities to film there movies. In the trailer we see...

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

According to the credits on IMDB Brian plays Sal Manilla / Dr. Van Neuter (voice). He may not preform, but usually IMDB dosn't make mistakes, at least this close to the release. He may only say 2 lines so who knows.

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

And if i'm not mistaken the NY production facility is no more correct? I mean like i said before the JHC is a much smaller company now that beyond the PBS shows really doesn't do much. I'm very excited to see what Disney dose with The Muppets if this is a success. Thanks for the imput.

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

Brian is in the movie or at least his characters are played by him. It just seems like an odd point for us older Muppet fans. I mean the puppets look great overall but i tend to agree with you about Walter and the Robot. But Disney has owned the Muppets now for 8 years, so they do move on. JHC...

Is the Jim Henson Company involved at all in the new movie?

I was looking over IMDB for company credits for Disney's "The Muppet's" and saw a company called Legacy Effects is doing the animatronic character effects work for the new movie. Which got me wondering is Henson Company is in no way involved from a production end on his film? I see in "Letters...
