I have used Design Master's floral spray paint which works fine, http://www.dmcolor.com/products/it won't dissolve your foam like regular Krylon spray paint. You can get it at Michael's.

I caught Space Bugs Zeta here in Chula Vista and loved the different scales on the show. I puppeteer solo most of the time and it is always a learning experience seeing you guys perform. By the way I'm one of the guys who auditioned for your bilingual shows a while ago. That was a lot of fun.

You can have every page be a sheet of foamie, but instead of having the mouth moved from the back by your hand you can pin or glue a color rubber band for a mouth and use a fishing line to pull down the mouth. Doing it this way you can close the book and not having it bulk up. Here is pic from...
