I'm new to puppet making, but have been in love with puppets since my mom made me a monkey puppet when I was probably 6 or 7 years old (the kind that velcro onto your waist and give you a hug while you operate it's mouth). I've been a voice over guy and and a radio guy, thought I'd be a film star when I was young and think I'll be a full time author one day (God willing). Puppet making is a new pass time, but I have a passion for it. And less than my best will not be accepted. I'll post my first real puppet build as soon as it's done---just a few more things to do.

I'm married... have a wonderful wife and an amazing daughter who loves my puppets, but if I have one lament... currently it's that I have no one to help me name my puppets... my daughter just calls them all puppet "Puppet" unless I name them and often tells me, "No. That's not his name." (she's 2), and my wife says,"Oh... I don't know..." ;-) but she's very supportive

Right now I don't even know why I'm making puppets other than they bring me joy and make my daughter giggle.
