Beeing the Bee- my school's mascot

Congrats, Mario! I've been doing costumed character work for about 10 years, and you have found the fun! People either feel like that...like they are bringing to life something inanimate, giving it character. Or they're hot and it hurts and they don't like it at all. I love it. Glad you...

    Hidden arm rods

No...that's true. They didn't move at the elbow; the bend was perminent as I recall. But each arm could go in or out independent of the other arm. And they could "shrug" by moving the rods up and down (which was really cute).

Actually, they are able to move independently. There are two rods. I wish I'd paid more attention to the method, sorry!

    Hidden arm rods

Jim Kroupa made some puppets with internal rods (we used the yellow one in John Tartaglia's class) Here's what they look like on the outside http://www.lyonpuppets.com/meercats.html I wish I could tell you how they were built, but I didn't notice....other than that they were a LOT harder...

They must have taken it down. Did you get the info? I'd like to send my stuff.

    Puppet Blanks?

Puppet Productions does customizable puppets, and they show them blank. I bet you could get 'em that way if you wanted http://store.yahoo.com/puppetproductions/customations.html
