What are your favorite TV shows to watch when You're Sick or having a bad day ?

I love Arthur, although I don't admit it to anyone. Shhh... Someone mentioned the Muppet Babies earlier in the thread. I was just talking to my daughter about wishing they'd bring the Muppet Babies out on DVD, because I would love that. I also enjoy Garfield and Friends, Fraggle Rock and...

Your Thoughts: Horton Hears a Who

The Cat and the Hat was terrible. I hated the Grinch the first time I saw it, but we now own it and I actually enjoy watching it. As far as Horton goes, we have that too. And I actually don't mind watching this movie twenty times in a row with my four year old. I thought Jim Carrey was very...

    Nostalgia Chick: Labyrinth

That was pretty awesome. I remember being at my best friend's house when I was 15, eating pretzels and Cool Whip (yeah, I know) and giggling at David Bowie's pants, I mean watching Labyrinth. Brings back great memories.

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

My four-year-old wanted to watch a movie after school today, and she pulled 'The Muppet's Christmas Carol' off the shelf. 'Bless Us All' hit me so hard when I watched it this time. I agree with the above post that the Muppet's legacy will always have an impact on my life and even at 26, I...

    Bein Green vs. Rainbow Connection

Bein' Green is definitely Kermit's anthem, and if I'm completely honest, my own as well. And since my four year old daughter's started school, it's become her anthem too. Although, if I really think about it, that's probably not a bad thing, now is it?

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

"I Don't Want To Live on the Moon" is one of my all-time favourite Sesame Street songs, and it always reminds me of my grandfather, who not only was named Jim, but died two months after Jim Henson at the tender age of sixty thanks to cancer:(. 1990 was a hard year for me. Watching the...

    Any other crafters out there?

I'm a scrapbooker. I've never really had the urge to knit or crochet or anything like that. I wouldn't mind taking up quilt making though. I've seen some really beautiful work.

    I'd make a HORRIBLE mother!

Thanks for the welcome Katzi428 :)

    What are your stories?

Thank you for the warm welcome. And I'm actually a wannabe Canuck myself. Well, I'm a permanent resident anyway. I'm originally from Pennsylvania and moved here to be with my then boyfriend (now husband) nearly seven years ago. I wouldn't trade living in Canada for anything in the world...

I'll play. -My name's Karen. -I'm 25 years old. -I have a daughter, who is three-and-a-half named Kimberley. -I've been married for five years now. -I love the Muppets (obviously), scrapbooking pics of my little girl and pets, writing children's stories (thinking of making the leap and trying to...

    Jack Pumpkinhead Doll

I just watched the movie a couple of months ago with my daughter and I was wondering the exact same thing. Imawitchusay, your doll is wonderful.

    I'd make a HORRIBLE mother!

I'm so glad to hear your niece is doing better. And as a mom myself, I think you'd make a great mom. Worrying is part of the job. And if my daughter had ever gotten chicken pox that young, I would have been a wreck.

    Funniest Fraggle Moments

The entire episode of Boober's Quiet Day cracks me up. As does Red's interpretation of the Thimble Beetle Song. "See the little simple, silly, dimpled, pimpled daughters as they flirt with dirty otters..." No matter how many times I hear her sing that, I always laugh hysterically.

What was your first Fraggle Rock episode?

Beginnings was my first. My parents rented the video for our brand new vcr back in '86 I do believe. I was about four years old, and I instantly fell in love with the show. ~Karen~
