The only problem I have is that the original Dark Crystal was created as a labour of love. I'm worried that this sequal is just a franchise created to make money.
But I expect great things from Takov! I'm hoping that this will turn out great!

I'm not really that pessimistic. I just don't like what Disney has done to the company. I think Jim Henson's work was amazing, and no one can replace him.

I don't think the Kermit puppet was sophisticated enough to play a banjo...
But we do know Jim Henson could carry a tune, and he made the Rainbow Connection song a really special number.
I kind of feel Disney has already ruined everything. Look at Muppet Wizard Of Oz. It had its moments (the 'Passion' joke was pretty funny) but overall it was an abomination.
