    Puppets of America - VHS

The video is excellent and I love it, but if you are thinking about getting it for the Muppet/Jim Henson parts then you will be disapointed. Its full of wonderful footage from the turn of the century and the 20's, 30's etc then some wonderful material on the great Ventriloquists. However the...

    Jim Henson Christmas Card

Yes they are flaps, I was explaining to Warrick earlier in an email. The original was produced by Jim in the 60's the company then re-released it with opening doors in the 90's. You can see it (not very well) in the Muppet Crafts book. It is a nice piece of Muppet History and one which...

Hi All, Capital FM contacted me about the piece they were gonna talk about, Friday. It was fantastic Kermitage got mentioned. We are lucky that we have had the pleasure of recieving quite a few acknowledgments, and to be honst the majority have come from the US. The site has won awards for...

    Photo Gallery?

Hi Tom, Kermitage is set to include a character Guide (and Ep Guide) for every single production that the Henson's have created. In fact three are ready and set to debut, but in future they shall be going online at the same time as the Episode Guides for each production, which are almost...

    Muppet Vision Bean/Animal/Kermit Wanted

The special is The Bunny Picnic (where Bean Bunny originated from) made in 1986. They can be found occasionally on places like eBay, but when they do appear they are often very expensive as they just arn't around much. plushes from a one hour special were never destined to be very popular...

    Muppet Vision Bean/Animal/Kermit Wanted

The Bean Bunny doll featured on the collectibles page in the Works isn't actually the one from Muppet Vision. That Bean Bunny was made by Applause along with three other characters from the show around the time that the special came out. The only doll on that page that is from Muppetvision...

    Palisades Message board

Its excellent news that Palisades have launched there own message board/forum. Its important that we are able to go somewhere offcial to get news and updates. We have all seen how open Ken and everyone at Palisades have been and finally they can reep what they sow via there own place. I think...

    Palisades website launch Forum

Palisades have launched their official forum where you can discuss the Action Figures and everything to do with them. This is excellent news as it allows Ken to officially give us the news and provide updates pictures etc. Its at its early stages but is well worth a look for all the Muppet...

Jim Hill on Saban, the Muppets, and Disney

I just got around to reading Jim Hill's article and I really think in future it might be better for all parties to wait a little before they jump into getting an "Editorial" online ASAP that is basically a rewording of the first press story that we all saw. That with as many attempts as possible...

New Hollywood and Vine restaurant honors Muppets

Don't make too much of a special journey, not to see the Muppets feature anyway. Its nice that Jim Henson is included and that the article mentioned it, but as it says it is only a small photo and one of many in a large selection of signed pictures. Many of the Hollywood themed restaurants...

Muppet plush in the FAO catalog

They are the Igel Plush. FAO in NY had them all for a long time on quite a nice display on the second floor, then they went - along with a drastically reduced Sesame Street display. They must obviously have them back in. The Igel Muppet Beanies have been turning up here in the UK again...

Good luck trying to find KSY reasonably or renting it

Hey Zack, you can't get KSY for $10.....not yet anyway.....Warrick got his for £10.99 (UK Pounds) which works out at about $17-$20 so don't worry you didn't pay that much more than anyone else. Michael

    Kermits Swamp Years DVD Secrets

Joe the Armadillo Puppet who did the "Backstage Special" kept calling everyone Jo, when he was told there name wasn't Jo he added Jo to the end of their real name. Therefore when interviewing Jim Lewis he became Jimjo, I think thats what it is reffering too. Michael.

    Kermits Swamp Years DVD Secrets

I'm not cringing at the "cute" in Jokes, just the one that is layed on pretty thick. The Leland sign was featured heavily and the long pause on the Henson Mailbox was enough for anyone with only a light knowledge of the Muppets to "get" the pun. You'll see what I mean and probably won't...

    Kermits Swamp Years DVD Secrets

When I first saw the "Young" Jim Henson and the fact that the town is named Leland i thought it cringingly corny.....its grown on me a little but I still think its a little overdone. Other VERY obvious references were Kermit and the pig and him hoping that he never has to see one again...
