I've seen it, and I have mixed feelings: On one hand, its nice to see Oscar, my absolute favorite Muppet, front and center of a production (how often does that happen?) On the other hand, they should have picked the Count, considering this is a Halloween special.

Having watched all 10 episodes, I agree with you.
Whether or not we get a second season, hopefully this will lead to more spinoff shows focusing on characters outside of the major players, like Pigs in Space or that proposed Uncle Deadly show from the early 2000s that never came to fruition...
I havent seen a whole episode yet, but I do find the concept rather interesting, from what I've seen so far.. Wonder if we'll see Mecha versions of other Sesame characters in the future, like Grover or Rosita. I can picture Mecha Oscar being similar to a Transformer: an ordinary trashcan turning...
