If this has been discussed before, forgive me; I'm fairly new here. :o I was wondering what happened to Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson. Are they doing anything Muppet-related anymore? I hope they still are!:concern: They are two of my favorite Muppeteers!

And the individual songs:
Floyd & Janice - 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover
Kermit - Lydia the Tattooed...
Is there anyplace you can get songs like "To Morrow", "You Don't Want My Love", "Chewing Gum on the Bedpost Overnight", and others like that? I would like to have those.
Yeah, I guess parodies do teach kids something.
And I do like the Trianglebob Trianglepants thing. It's funny and catchy. I was singing that song all day today.
Is it me, or does that seem a bit too silly for Sesame Street? I don't think it teaches kids anything. In fact, all their parodies of recent shows don't really teach kids anything. Why do they do them?
Who, Alan Menken? He wrote songs for Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, and Home on the Range. He also was the composer behind Little Shop of Horrors.
I just got the "Songs from the Street" collection from my library. I think it's the best Sesame Street CD ever. Anyway, it says in the booklet inside that Alan Menken wrote some songs for Sesame Street. Does anyone know what songs they are?
I always get misty-eyed when I hear Jim singing "Rainbow Connection" and "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon". He was the best.
P.S. first post!:) :D :excited:
