I'm getting more and more excited for this movie! For once (ok I'm exaggerating), something good happened on Friday the 13th. :)

Lips not appearing in every group scene in GMC more than likely had to do with the fact that there probably weren't enough Muppet performers on the set in order to get every character in every shot.

I agree that Nick probably doesn't care about the Muppets anymore (then again, they really don't care about anything these days except money). But when I was referring to the whole Disney owning the Muppets thing, I didn't mean that that was why Nick took the Muppets off. I mean't that that is...

Also keep in mind that Nickelodeon once cared about the Muppets (even though Nick's airings typically were edited). Then again, Nick's current 'lack of Muppets' probably has to do with Disney's ownership. But at least Disney cares about the Muppets!

Nickelodeon is pretty much becoming what Disney Channel currently is. That channel also use to be cool... those were the days :(

At one point in the montage of events where the muppets go looking for Kermit, they are seen rehearsing for the upcoming show. It appears that Rizzo was supposed to be Kermit's temporary replacement, at least in rehearsals. But I always wondered how in the world the muppets understood a word...

I'm guessing the performers were all under the floor, performing them as normal hand puppets; the puppets could hide the performer's arm when fully shown.
