NEW Executive Vice President/General Manager for MHC: RUSSELL HAMPTON

Hi Marky, they aren't Talent Agents, but they are actively involved in the casting of the projects they own, as any good producer should be.

NEW Executive Vice President/General Manager for MHC: RUSSELL HAMPTON

Nope just a gifted Talent Agent should suffice (such as Jim Henson's agent, Bernie Brillstein). Brillstein knew how to land jobs for Jim and the Muppets and colaborate with others to acheive Jim's dreams. Brillstein employed by Disney to represent the Muppets would be a big positive...

NEW Executive Vice President/General Manager for MHC: RUSSELL HAMPTON

Debbie McClellan started with the Henson's as an Office Temp and somehow rose up the corporate ladder. Still it's amazing that she was an Office Temp and got this far in her career. Some times I wonder if she rose through the ranks because Henson executives abandoned ship and they left her...

In Development: Henson's Fraggle Rock Movie

Ouch! Homebound! I know that term. It basically means due to ill health you can't leave your home anymore except to go to the doctor because you are very sick.

    Internet Explorer 7

The final version of IE 7 is now available at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx I downloaded it yesterday and overall I'm not to impressed with the new version. IE7 has "Tabs". They allow you to open up mutiple webpages with the same browser window. Personally I...

In Development: Henson's Fraggle Rock Movie

When they make their movie, things are going to have to be large scale and overblown to bring in the viewing public to the theatres. Picture the Trash Heap as big as a city. How about 'Gorg City', with thousands of Gorgs. The discovery that some Fraggles can fly. and a Doozer-metropolis.

In Development: Henson's Fraggle Rock Movie

I agree, I hope Jerry is able to cope with his lung disease to be in the film. I always believed that Wembley was Steve's number one character and would love Wembley to be the star of the film.

I Want To Talk About Kevin Clash

Please don't believe who told you that. If you have ever been in a room when Kevin works Elmo, you see the magic come alive. The guy is a really gifted performer. You can't notice this on television but Clash does Elmo as loud as a siren.

    HEROES on NBC

Excellent show! I too think the kid will have some kind of special power... remember the baby in the movie 'The Incredibles?' Maybe this kid will save the day somewhere down the road.

    Fan Mail

One time I read an article on seeking autographs. It said if you want an autograph you should send a SASE. Or in your letter you could enclose a postcard for them to sign and send back to you. The biggest no-no in the article was don't expect a response if the performer is currently hot...

I would put on the lower left hand corner of the envelope: ATTN: Muppeteer Steve Whitmire (for example.)

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Statler and Waldorf recast with new performers. I wasn't thrilled with Steve, Dave nor Victor Yerrid's character interpretations. However I do think Drew Massey did a fine job in the role. During the run of these S&W shorts, I learned that they were...
