Oh wow. Because Kevin's Elmo seemed slightly off in that appearance, to me at least. Something about the voice. That's why I thought it was Dillon, it was similar enough but slightly off.

Despite the reasons why, I'm happy that they recast Elmo. My opinion is that, with Clash gone, they might not be giving so much focus to Elmo anymore. They're keeping him around, but it seems like he'll be more of a team player now. Part of the ensemble cast, rather than the star, shall we say...

At least with Jacobson/Jacobsen, from a distance, the o can easily be mistaken as an e. But if you can master "Whit", then it can't be that hard to tackle "mire". At least we aren't seeing reviews crying out for more "Bobo the King Shrimp".
