    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Talk is cheap. And the person talking is not at MHC anymore. ABC is lukewarm on Next Muppet idea. Xmas special is not ready for preproduction. The only shows being produced atm are ESPN and movies.com. Yet they are not 'major'.

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Muppet DK is correct. Any character cameo done for movies.com will be performed by Yerrid or Massey. And Goelz etc are not too busy to shoot. None of the specials are in production yet. Most prob won't happen at all. sec squirrel

Statler and Waldorf on ESPN Classic

These clips are Yerrid and Massey, not Goelz and Whitmire. MHC tried to slip it under the radar. secret squirrel

    Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Don't believe the PR spin from Muppet Holdings. This is their way of testing reactions. If you put up with these fake Muppets, Disney will keep using them. They don't care who the performers are. Goelz and Whitmire are replaceable. Expendable. Sports movies and From the Balc now, who knows what...

So you want to audition for the Muppets?

OverUnder. I'm not auditioning either. It's true that to be a performer takes a certain amount of self-confidence and ego. But to me, it's the height of arrogance to think that one can simply pick up a Muppet and become one of those characters. It seems the current generation of understudies...

So you want to audition for the Muppets?

Prawncracker. Disney's assurances are not that strong. It starts with understudies, but there are no guarantees that it ends there. The Muppets never required understudies before. Disney can flood the world with Muppets without using alternate performers. They're Disney. Goshposh said "if...

    Couple of questions for Muppeteers

Not a Muppeteer, but I'll help Jeff. 1) It burns. It can be brutal, but that's the job. Most shots, though, only last two to three minutes. Seven minutes is generally accepted as the upper limit for any single take, but I recently saw a stage puppeteer do a fifteen-minute stand-up comedy...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 36

"If sesame workshop is allowed (or willing to spend the money) to ... show old kermit skits ... couldn't some of kermits starring roles be shown in new episodes?" Most likely not. You'll continue to see Kermit in compilation tapes, and the occasional appearance like Do De Rubber Duck, but...

Matt Vogel & Mighty Weaklings on iTunes

D'Snowth. Matt's voice can be heard in Muppet sketches and some animation inserts, but to my knowledge he hasn't written any songs for Sesame Street.
