The Seattle Sci-Fi Museum has a suit from part III. That could be the one you're thinking of. And yeah, it was definitely a little "gruesome" when it arrived! He's in considerably better shape now :) Tom

Sir Didymus was a really fun character from Labyrinth. If you saw the film, he was the chivalrous fox (with a trusty shaggy dog). I had the honor of restoring one of the original puppet heads of that character some time ago. If you have a look at the Movie Prop Restoration Services section...

Thanks very much to all for the kind words on this project. :) No, the focus was entirely on rebuilding the original pieces and not creating reproductions. (and frankly, I'm not sure the costume could've survived the process). best regards, Tom

That one's been exhibited several times and I'm pretty sure the general understanding is that it's a static reproduction made using some of the original molds and potentially some screen-used costume elements. Looking at the way it's aged over time I'd guess that it's a slip-cast latex piece...

Thanks for the kind words, folks! In terms of "care" this sort of piece should be displayed but not handled much (which probably goes without saying). An acrylic case helps keep dust and fingers away. As long as it's kept from sunlight and harsh temp/humidity swings, it should hold up...
