Don't rully know about that one. Guess I'd need some convincing, either from my trusted sources or from myself one way or another. Let's just leave them for further consideration for the next version of the list for now. Got plenty to update, which you'll see when V16 goes online. Course, still sorting through the clips to finalize V16 before posting it though.
Hope this helps answer your question.

Here's one piece of information to help: Michael Frith, a former Muppet design consultant, designed a number of the characters.

Not 100% sure, but I believe there's a Sesame Place in Mexico, and they have a walkaround Abelardo Montoya (the Mexican Parrot version of Big Bird) as Walk arounds. They may also have Pancho and Lola, but I'm not even that sure.

Yes, you're right about Hoots, but The Wolf was a costume, I've actually seen a photo of him off the float before standing in the parade.

I'm not sure about Hoot, but the Wolf is a walkaround - I shook the guy's hand before he mounted the float for the parade. This was several years ago so they may have changed since then, but the Wolf was a walkaround (and I think he still might be). I would like to say however he was one of the best looking (in terms of looking like the original puppet version) walkarounds I have seen.

I wonder how the Two-Headed Monster was performed as a walk-around. It would probably be hard for one person (at least one one-headed person) to wear a two-headed monster outfit without one head looking limb.

At Universal Studios Japan, there is a pink baby monster-type character named Moppi who appears in the show "Happy Surprise", which you can see on Youtube.

Yes, they do have Pancho as a walk-around character there as well.

We have 2 more to add to the list...

There's never been a Papa or Mama Bear walk-around... just Aunt Ursula and Uncle Grizzly in the 1-2-3... Imagine! show :batty:
