Episode 22: Outer Space and Science Fiction

Scene 1:
Murray announces that today's show is all about science fiction and outer space. The Martians then show up.

Segments:
  • Martians look for Mars
  • Zork: ring toss
  • Bert and Ernie Meet the Martians

Scene 2:
The Martians play a pattern game with Murray, with one Martian saying "yip yip" and another saying "uh-huh". Murray guesses which phrase comes next.

  • C3PO and R2D2 send Oscar a message
  • Cookie's Crumby Pictures: Star S'mores

Scene 3:
Oscar shows up and tells Murray about the time Slimey went to the moon.

Scene 4:
Oscar says that the rocket took some time to blast off (the ideal rocket for a grouch!).

Scene 5:
Oscar tells Murray that for once, he was really worried. He also says that Slimey told him that the worms had fun, doing things like form letters of the alphabet.

Scene 6:
Oscar also says that the street was crowded the day when they watched Slimey land on the moon.

Scene 7:
Oscar says that Slimey is now back on Earth, and decides to scram back to his can.

Episode 23: Monsters

Scene 1:
Murray announces that today's show is focused on monsters, and gets surprised/startled when Cookie Monster, Grover, Elmo, Zoe, Telly, Herry, Rosita, Frazzle, the Two-Headed Monster, and the Monster Clubhouse monsters show up suddenly. Telly tells Murray not to be frightened, as Murray is a monster, too.

Scene 1:
Murray says that today, we're going to learn about opposites. Oscar asks if that means we're NOT going to learn about opposites, since learning about opposites is the opposite of not learning about opposites.

Episode 26: Telly and Baby Bear

Scene 1:
Murray tells us that today's show will spotlight both Telly Monster and Baby Bear. Telly and Baby Bear then show up and talk about what best friends they are. They've done a lot together, including sing karaoke, which Telly says he was nervous about at first.

  • Baby Bear and Telly sing "Let's Go Driving"

Scene 2:
Telly and Baby Bear mention that they have some differences in what they like best. Telly likes triangles, Baby Bear likes porridge.

Scene 3: Telly tells Murray about how he used to be obsessed with television - he even looked and sounded a bit different.

Scene 4:
People tried to get Telly to do other things while he would rather watch television.

Scene 5:
But Telly quickly grew out of it, though he does sometimes appear on TV, for Monster on the Spot.

Scene 1:
Murray says that today's show is about friendship, and Ovejita pops up to represent his friend.
