So I've been trying to make tentacles for the face of my puppet. Something thick but that still is flexible so when it shakes its head you can see it.

Right not i have to just use flat pieces of fleece.

Any ideas?

You can paint latex rubber on a piece of plastic or glass and once it drys you can roll it up into a rubbery tentacle once you have rolled it you need to power it with baby powder to keep it from sticking to the other tentacles. You can also tint the latex before you paint it on with acrylic paint or all tint mixed in to it.

Try using foam backer rods, they're sold in most hardware stores.
