Chapter one

Piggy was sitting on her bed alone as she was looking through her twitter. She looked at her computer screen. She got comments like "Go and kill yourself!" and "Now I know why your father died."

She turned off the laptop and sighed. Everything that has happened in her life has started to hit her like a ton of bricks. Her father's death, her mother's abuse towards her, her breakup with Kermit, and everything else.

Suddenly she heard her door was being kicked down. She walked to the living room to see what was going on, but she was knocked out cold.

Kermit dialed Piggy's number. "Hey, where are you? I've been calling you all day and I'm getting worried. Call me."

An hour later...

Kermit entered Piggy's house and saw her knocked out on the staircase. "Oh no." He bent down to her and started shaking her. "You're kidding me, right? This is some sucide prank, right. No, no, no."

He grabbed his phone and dialed Rowlf's number. "Hey, I need Bunsen over here. Piggy...she's alive but I don't know what happened...I understand that...YOU TELL THAT SCIENCE MANIAC THAT I, THE BOSS, ORDER HIM TO GET HIS SMART A--S OVER HERE AND FIX THIS GIRL UP! I KNOW SHE'S MY EX, BUT I STILL CARE ABOUT HER! WHATEVER, HURRY!"

Chapter two

Two Days later...

Kermit was checking on Piggy when Denise pulled him to the hall.

"KERMIT! I TOLD YOU NOT TO TALK TO HER!" Denise called.

"Denise, she was knocked out and covered in blood. what was I supposed to do, let her bleed to death? She's my best friend. I love her too." Kermit told her.

"Look, I have no idea what kind of bond you and Piggy have, but it needs to stop," she said. "I get that you love her, but she can take care of herself."

"You know what, Denise?" The frog asked. "You have no idea what Piggy's going through and guess what? I went through it! Now, I have to stay behind because of you!"

Denise stormed off as Fozzie walked up to Kermit.

"Are you alright?"

Kermit turned to his friend and sighed. "I can't say. Piggy might not come back."

"What's Denise fussing about?" Fozzie asked.

"She doesn't want me to help her," the frog replied. "But I have to. I'm not break up with her, but it has to be done."

Fozzie turned to Piggy, who was asleep, and sighed. "I love her like she's my daughter. Even though she always puts my jokes down, I'm with you all the way."

"I love her, Fozzie," the frog continued. "I'm a terrible friend to her. She helped me with my depression, unlike Denise. You and I both know that if it wasn't for Piggy, I wouldn't be alive...and you too. I'm worried about her."

Fozzie pulled her into a huge bear hug. "Tell her that. Right now. You go write her a letter explaining everything."

The frog pulled away. "I feel like I'm about to have an anxiety attack..." he panted. "I can't breathe."

The bear sat him and gave him some coffee. "She's gonna be okay."

Kermit turned to Piggy and sighed. "She's my star. When I found her...I thought she...killed herself. But I could her hear heart beat."

"If Denise can't understand the bond between you and Piggy, she has issues," the bear said. "I don't think you'll ever get over Piggy though."

"I thought I was..."

Chapter three

Piggy was packing her bags when someone barged in. Without turning to see who it was she yelled, "DO YOU KNOW HOW TO KNOCK!?"

"Yeah, but we need to talk." A male voice said. Kermit.

She turned to him and sat on her bed. "I bet you know."

"Know about what?" He asked.

"My brother, Uncle Ed, and my grandparents were murdered," she revealed. "I'm going to their funeral. And I need to be alone."
He shook his head. "No, you don't. I know what you're going through and-"

"THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT IS DENISE!" She screamed.

"No!"

Kermit pulled Fozzie to his office.
"Fozzie I need to talk to you about Denise and Piggy."
"What's wrong?" Fozzie asked.
"Denise isn't letting me help Piggy. She thinks I have a thing for her."
"Well don't you?"
"Yeah but I want to pay her back. She helped me when I was depressed and she helped me snap out of it."
"That's true. Just do it. You are the boss so don't let Denise boss YOU at all."
"Thanks Fozzie. I'm really worried about Piggy."
"What's wrong with her?"
"Few of her family members were murdered. She's going to Iowa to attend their funeral. I don't think she's coming back."
"She's just struggling."
"I know.."
Fozzie gave a pat on Kermit's shoulder and walked away.

"Thanks..."

Chapter four

Denise found Kermit in his room.
"I heard what you're gonna do Kermit and I'm not letting you go."
"Denise, she needs me. Why can't you understand?"
"She's not your girlfriend anymore!"
"But she's my friend!"
"So? You're supposed to be with me!!!"
"Says who?"
"ME!"
"I DONT CARE DENISE! SHE'S GOING THROUGH A ROUGH TIME!"
"SO!?"
"I HAVE TO PAY HER BACK!" Kermit cried."I WAS IN THE SAME SITUATION AND SHE HELPED ME FEEL BETTER!"
"That was the past!"
"AND YOU DONT THINK IT STILL HURTS? NOW THAT SHES LIKE THIS, IT SCARES ME! I DONT KNOW WHAT SHE WILL DO NEXT!"
"FINE WHATEVER!"
"GOOD!"
"GOOD!"
Denise left and slammed the door. Kermit sat there p--d off as he continued packing.

Piggy was reading the newspaper when she got a text from Kermit.

K: Hey, I need to talk to you.

P: Okay.

K: I'm going with you.

P: What about Denise?

K: I'm not gonna let her run my life. Especially because I love you.

P: Fine, but is Fozzie going?

K: You want him to?

P: Yeah. I gotta talk to him.

K: Okay. Honey, I'm sorry for your loss.

P: Thanks, my green thunder.

K: Okay, my pink tiger

P: But I'm a pig...

K: Yeah, but the lion fell in love with the tiger.

P: Whose the lion?

K: You're talking to him.

P: But...we broke up.

K: I never stopped loving you.

P: Really?

K: Of course. I, Kermit, love you, Piggy.

"Piggy..." Fozzie began, holding back his own tears.

Piggy turned to him and smiled. "Thank you for being there for being there for me. I know haven't been all nice to you."

"Piggy," he sat down. "I know this is hard for you and I know that you're supposed to be all strong, but..." he rubbed her arm. "You can let go with me and Kermit."

Piggy hugged him. "Only you two understand this."

He tightened his grip. "I noticed. I love you."

"I love you, too...Can you come with me? Please?"

He nodded. "Sure, baby girl!"

Chapter five

Kermit got into the back seat with Piggy while Fozzie got into the driver seat.

"Piggy..." Kermit began. "I'm gonna say this because I love you. I know how this can end and I will not let that happen."

Piggy nodded. "Okay...I'm getting tired."

"You go on ahead and rest," the frog said, rubbing her head. "I'll wake you up."

She lied on Kermit's lap and he held her by her sides. Soon, she had fallen asleep.

Kermit watched as Piggy was sleeping. He stroked her hair with one hand and rubbed her checks with the other. Soon he sighed.
"Everything alright?" Fozzie asked.
"I don't know Fozzie. I'm just worried about Piggy. She's so depressed. I can't stand seeing her like this."
"It's okay Kermit, it's just a lot piling on her."
"I know Fozzie but still. She means a lot to me and I can't stand seeing her so miserable and tired. This isn't her!" He yelled.
Miss Piggy slowly moved.
"Oops." Kermit said slowly.
"Just be there for her." Fozzie said.
"Yeah."
Soon they arrived at the airport.

Chapter six

Kermit was sitting on the couch and the memory was making his head hurt...

Flashback..

Kermit had his pocket knife as he was cutting. His tears blurred his vision.

"KERMIT!" Fozzie screamed. "STOP!"

"I can't..." The frog said, cutting.

Fozzie walked over to him and took the knife.

Kermit started shaking while staring at blood gushing all over his arms.

"IT HURTS!" Kermit cried.

Piggy saw Kermit suffering in pain.

End of Flashback...

"Ouch!" Kermit exclaimed as he touched one of the scars.

"You okay?" Fozzie asked.

"Yeah.." Kermit lied.

Fozzie sat there watching as Kermit kept on rubbing his arms.

"They hurt, huh?"

Kermit nodded in guilt. Fozzie hugged him as the Frog started crying.

"What's wrong?"

"It's Piggy. I'm just so worried about her."

"Me too..."

Chapter seven

Kermit was trying to take a nap when his phone started vibrating. A text from Gonzo.

G: Hey, how's Piggy?

K: Not so good. She started cutting.

G: Oh man. I hope she gets better.

K: I'm scared that I might start cutting again...for her. I'm worried about her. I can't sleep, eat, or anything.

G: talk to Fozzie.

K: Yeah, I guess I can.

G: Just try not to cut okay.

K: I'll try.

Kermit put his phone down and saw Piggy trying to sleep.

"Piggy," he said. "Please, listen to me..." he sat her up. "I remember it. It hurts. I have to fight the urge to do it because I start again, I'll never stop. And I can't lose you...again."

Piggy sighed as he pulled her face closer to his. He leaned in and began kissing her.

"Uhh, Kermit?" Fozzie asked with confusing. "What's going on?"

Kermit pulled away. "I'm sorry..." he turned to Fozzie. "I need to talk to you...alone."

He walked with Fozzie into the office

"Fozzie..I'm having the urge to cut again."
Fozzie looked up and looked at the Frog.
"Kermit, don't please. You're trying to make her feel better not make her feel worse."
"I know but it's just that I'm scared."
Fozzie noticed the tiredness and the fear in the Frog's eyes.
"Kermit?"
"Yeah?"
"Get some rest. I'll talk to her."
"I'll try.."
Fozzie got up and gave him a hug and left Kermit alone in the office.
Kermit grabbed the pocket knife and stared at it..

Chapter eight

The three entered the house that Piggy's dad made her her and Kermit walked up to his room. Holding the knife, his hands starts shaking as he got the knife closer to his arm.

"Kermit..." Fozzie began. "What are you doing?"

"I don't know." The frog sighed.
Fozzie sat him down and took the knife. "Let's not let Piggy know about this."

Kermit started to cry. "What's wrong with me?"

They shared a hug. "You're scared."

Kermit grabbed his phone and dialed Denise's number.
D: hey Kermit.
K: hey..
D: what's wrong?
K: I tried cutting again.
D: why?
K: I don't know! I'm so scared for Piggy.
D: listen Kermit, if you love her so much, go back with her I Understand.
K: I don't know Denise.
D: I will still love you.
K: I don't wanna lose you for some stupid reason.
D: Kermit...
K: Denise, I wanna be with you and also Piggy. I'm just really scared for her. I saw her arms and she got me thinking of cutting myself again. I don't know anymore. What's wrong with me?
D: nothing is wrong with you. You're just worried.
K: I guess.
D: I have to go now, Crazy Harry just blew something up.
K: sheesh.
D: I know.
K: well I love you.
D: you sure?
K: yes.
D: I love you too.

Kermit hung up and sighed staring at his arms.

Piggy stared at Kermit. "If you want to be with her so much, why did you kiss me?"

Kermit sighed. "I don't know, Piggy. I love you and Denise."

"What if I told you that I want to be with you and Fozzie?"

He stopped his trance and turned to her. "What?"

She nodded. "You never cared about me."

"Piggy, that's not true, I love you. You know that!"

"Maybe I don't!" She exclaimed. "This is was the exact reason why I was worried about you going!"

"Piggy, I-"

"Stop! Just go home to her!"

"NO! I CAN'T LEAVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!"

She walked out of the house as he was breathing heavily.

"Kermit..." Fozzie said. "What did she say about me?"

"She wants to be with you...and me..." Kermit sighed. "What if I want to be Piggy again?"
