There are movies I really like that it seems many (at least when it comes to "online people") really hate:
Additionally, I like Batman and Robin better than the 1989 Batman. I don't think it's the greatest movie ever or anything (and I prefer both Batman Returns and Batman Forever), but I don't think it's as bad as everyone says (and maybe I'm just not paying attention, but I don't think all of Mr. Freeze's dialogue is literally ice puns). I kinda feel like Batman is a bit boring, maybe I'd like it better if we didn't get the sequels, or maybe I like two main villains better than just one main villain. I also feel like Batman Begins is too boring (almost as boring as The Hulk, but not as), I never gave the next two sequels a chance because I was so disappointed.
I like Scrappy Doo. Not really a big fan of Scooby Doo. I think I was suddenly a big fan around 1997, then the franchise suddenly became more popular and I got tired of it fast. But I like Scrappy.
When it comes to the show Newhart, I really like Kirk Devane better than Michael Harris. I also really like Leslie, and I like most of the differences between the first season and later seasons. It's one of my favorite examples of a show being shot on video instead of film, and the fact that many episodes opened without an exterior shot of the inn and opening music, and the use of clips from the show instead of a shot of the inn during the credits. Would I like these changes if they were never changed? Of course I do tend to like things that changed from the first season to the second season, though I think I usually like it more if I didn't start watching from the first season (when the show premiered on Nick at Nite, I didn't pay much attention until the second or third night of the marathon).
One of my favorite scenes from Babe is the scene where the granddaughter gets upset because she got a dollhouse made by her grandpa instead of the one she saw on the television. I always thought the scene was really funny (and it reminds me of the scene from UHF where Fletcher makes a similar complaint about the watch his son got him for Father's Day... for the record, I saw Babe first), but reading on TV Tropes and YouTube comments for that scene, it seems many people were not amused, many hate or are at least annoyed by her and feel sorry for her grandparents (TV Tropes lists this under tear jerker but making it clear it's a tear jerker for the Hoggets and not her).
I really like a lot of the post-1964 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. I know there are others who like that era, though. But I do like the Daffy and Speedy cartoons better than the Sylvester and Speedy ones, I don't mind many of the things people complain about, I like some of the more despised shorts of the era like Rodent to Stardom, though I also do dislike a few of the really despised ones (like See You Later Gladiator... in fact I don't think ANYBODY likes that one at all), and I don't think very many of the Merlin the Magic Mouse cartoons are that good (the first one is fine, though).

- Master of Disguise (it seems whenever I talk to people I actually know - particularly ones still in high school or recently graduated - they like it, but everyone who talks about it online, like The Nostalgia Critic or commentors in the episode thread, they really hate it)
- Many Adam Sandler films. Admittedly, there are a lot of his films from the last decade that I really don't care about but still gave a chance and watch every once in a while if I have a copy (like Just Go With It, Jack and Jill, The Longest Yard, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Ridiculous Six... I think Mr. Deeds is the first Sandler film that I really didn't care as much for, though there was a period where I felt Big Daddy wasn't as good as I'd remembered but in the last few years I'm liking it more again), but I also really like some of the most-hated/most-despised Sandler films (Little Nickey, That's My Boy, Eight Crazy Nights), and it seems there are some that I'm surprised to have heard have been liked by people who normally dislike Adam Sandler (for example, I was suprised to hear that Doug Walker likes Fifty First Dates which I don't think is that good; ditto with You Don't Mess with Zohan, which I've only seen once and am really unsure as to whether I like it or not). And much like what I said about people I know liking Master of Disguise, it seems like "online people" (people on message boards like MC, online critics, social media comments for negative reviews of his movies) dislike a lot of Adam Sandler's works while many people I know tend to like them. Maybe it's an Indiana thing, maybe I interact with the right audience for Sandler's films, maybe they're just pretending to agree with me...
- The live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks movies. They may not be the best live-action adaptation of an animated property, but I tolerate them. I recently saw the last two movies for the first time and am surprised by how much I liked them (especially The Road Chip), didn't think I'd like them that much.

- Solo: A Star Wars Story (actually, I'm unsure if it's really hated or not, or if people just aren't giving it a chance).
