******* through with this “women must hide their faces” ****. How the absolute ******* did this come about in the first place? When did men decide that this was the way to go? And why the **** are people in favor of this fuckery? I just cannot believe that we living in the 21st century can be capable of such stupidity, and it grinds my ******* gears at how people would rather be oppressed than free to show their ******* faces.

Islam is a stupid religion and we should be attacking it at its roots as much as we are Christianity. And if those Muslim extremist ***** don’t like it, hit me with a ******* airplane. Like I give a ****, you imposing retarded douchebag *********** oppressive ******* piles of bull semen and cow ****.

None of this matters to me anymore. I’m doing a write in and that’s that. If I bother going to the voting booth at all. Both parties are pure and utter garbage. No exception, and no redemption. And my non swing state vote doesn’t matter anyway. It’s all a joke. Just live your life, treat people well, and tune out the
nonsense.

Someone here once said politics is us. That, my friends, is the problem.

Dems/Leftists are leaning more towards Socialism (following Bernie's lead, to a degree).
Free stuff for everybody!

If someone can show me ANY country where Socialism worked, I'd be in. Truth is, it doesn't. Most recent examples, in the last 20 years, Brazil and Venezuela had the strongest economies in South America. Their oil production alone was enough to sustain them. 20 years of Socialism, both countries are in the toilet.

One big selling point for Democratic Socialists is free health care. Great! But one nagging question....

HOW is it going to get paid for?
The national debt is 21 trillion.
The bill for free health care is 36 trillion.
If we could pay off 2.1 trillion a year over the next ten years, this country would be debt-free for the first time since 1840.
We can't. We keep sinking deeper every year.
So how in the name of all that's reasonable can we pick up a 36 trillion tab when we can't even pay off our debts?

Socialism isn't about "free stuff for nothing," and Socialism actually worked for America when FDR was President . . . so much so that they had to implement term limits because the American people kept voting him back into Office over and over and over and over again.

During the Depression, FDR did make a big stride implementing Social Security. So many needed it, but it was only meant to be a temporary fix.
80 years later, so many elderly people would be destitute without it.
I'm surprised Social Security still exists, it was projected to be bankrupt by 2010.
But with people living longer and now with the Baby Boomers (the biggest age demographic we have, 59 million) hitting retirement, you millennials better start saving your pennies.

My dad temporarily lost his SS in 2010 . . .they were like, "Oops, sorry, we accidentally paid you too much, so now we're gonna screw you over for the next several months till our losses are repaid." Spent weeks without electricity and had to get food from poor houses and pantries because of it. Living paycheck-to-paycheck only pays so much.

It's partly the Baby Boomers' fault for not better preparing us for the real world. We were taught nothing about taxes, the job market, managing budgets, or any of that stuff . . . plus, your generation were the ones who promised my generation we'd have steady employment in our chosen professions if we went to college and got our degrees, diplomas, Masters, Bachelors, whatevers in our field . . . and look at all the Millennials who did just that and are stuck flipping burgers, delivering pizzas, sitting in cubicles, and bagging groceries, because perspective employers keep saying, "Sorry, we want X-amount of years experience."

Frank Zappa once said it best.

"Socialism doesn't work, because people like to own stuff."

Well, I'm Genrration X so I'm stuck somewhere in the middle.
I was taught nothing about taxes, credit card debt, sticking to a budget either, so I learned the hard way.
Part of it is true, you can achieve your goals if you go to college and BUST YOUR BUTT.
Nobody will hand you anything, you're not entitled to anything, and if you want anything big in life, you're gonna have to compete like you can't believe.
My dad drilled that in my head when I was 16, turned out to be true.
