does anyone remember an old animated segment on Sesame Street with a dancing triangle and square set to a swell jazz number? I'm trying to find out the name of that song and the musician. It sounded a lot like Coltrane. Response appreciated!

Yup, I've been looking for that for years, but no one seems to either remember the segment or the music. If you find out, please let me know!

Dancing Triangle Song Answer

I'm 95% sure the name of the Dancing Triangle Song is "Take Five" by Dave Brubeck. It was my first exposure to jazz music as a 5-6 year old and love the style of music, as well as Dave Brubeck. I just attended a concert this past weekend featuring his son, Chris Brubeck and his trio.

ilovepbs,
I haven't seen it in a while, but I'm pretty sure the music isn't "take five".
As I remember, it's definitely similar style, but not the same song.
