I was at the Suncoast at Fox Run Mall (New Hampshire) and they had about 2 or 3 cases of series seven finally reduced to half off. So check your local Suncoast to see if they are doing the same. I know not all are half off cause I checked the Mall of New Hampshire later the same day, theirs were still 25% off. Just thought I would give a heads up to anyone who was waiting to purchase the rest of series 7. They had all but pin striped Johnny.

Well, it's not that cool since it means series 7l, like many others, can't sell at full price. I can only imagine how many series 7 figures there must be at TRU stores across the US.

It's a customizer's dream really. If I had more Robin's near me I'd have an entire Frog Scout troop by now.

Sorry Wig. I meant cool for the average person who wants to get some figures at a bargain price. Not Palisades or people with an interest in how things go in the future, yes it's unfortunate in that aspect. It says a lot about the Muppets profile right now really and the way specialist action figure collecting is going really more than the figures themselves.

Everytime I see a sale like this I just think, "I hope my veggies get made." So this makes me worry.

I hope your veggies get made too, but I'm preparing for the worst at this point. Back in Spring when I saw about twelve Cliffords (regular & repaint) sitting at Suncoast for only $2.59 and several Crazy Harry and Daredevil Gonzo at Toys R Us at full price things looked grim for the line. And seeing just about everybody from series 7 at reduced price just worsens the fate of the lines future.

But I digress. Do think if asked Palisades to send me some muppet Tomatos, Carrots, and Bernice the Chicken they would? I'd be willing to pay whatever price they asked.

Wiggy,
I agree with you totally. Seeing them on sale is bad for the future of the line. However, this is an isolated thing. I hit around 10-12 stores regularly, TRU, Suncoast, and EB. Other than that 1 Suncoast, all the others either have nothing left, or a few beauregard's. I know of one Suncoast that still had a few 4's, and even a Vacation Pepe left, but thats a hidden gem (for me who started with series 6). Even TRU has had none left. They all finally even got rid of their Series 1 Ms Piggys.
On the bright side, once the Suncoast's got their series 8 in, I have seen even less of those in stores than I have of series 7. (I know they probally just order less) But I see maybe one or two of series 8 left on the racks. So there is still life left in the series.

It's good to know series 8 won't likely go on sale, but it's too late anyway since Mediaplay didn't order series 9. Poor series 9. And now ten is in limbo somewhere in 2005. So sad.
