Yeah I found that special and I'm watching it now  But they do have a short clip of that in The Muppets 30th Anniversary Special as well.

Saw it. Thought it was good. Liked that The Electric Mayhem and Scooter had lines.

And the CGI characters--reminded me of something out of a Linkin Park music video.

"Those are my nipples."

Funniest line. Just about snarked my soda when i heard that last weekend!

Yeah I cracked up at that part as well.

How do I like it? I cared so little for it I forgot about it after it was done, and I only got around to posting now

Here I go:

The songs stank.

Ashanti stank.

CG wizard stank.

Rizzo's Girls Gone Wild was a reference to PORNO.

I remember when the last time the original guys were in the Star Trek movie, they said they had to be careful they didn't look like a "laughable mob." Well, that is what the Muppets have become. Some people say "Oh Floyd was there and Janice was..."

Who cares? They are just there to say "HERE THEY ARE. SEE THEM? Okay, great, we did our job."

Terrible script. It just goes through the motions, and a big Disney burp, too.

Sure, I hated it, but most of all it just felt like a bore. I'm not too angry about it

Kirk Thatcher, the director of the film, said that the wizard was supposed to look cheezy and fake. They wanted to audiance to know these images were not "real" and were artificial illusions; and were not real in the relm or world of the film. The images were not supposed to look realistic and they wanted them cheezy.

The project was started and the script was written before Disney bought the Muppets and became involved. Disney is not to blame for the script.

While it may be true that they wanted it to look cheezy, that doesn't mean it was the right way to go. I think it works for the dragon and the fire and the head, but not the woman/chicken. That was just too cheezy. I still liked it though, but that part was too cheezy.

I had no problem with any of the CGI, I actually thought the chicken was funny, but the woman looked like they were trying, and it came off as bad video game character.

I agree. But even the woman looked cheesy to a degree. Cause most videogame women don't really look that rough and everything. -- Then again, I'm an intense gamer, and I see women/men polygon'd nearly every day. XD It all looked cheesy to me.

..My two cents once again. :embarrassed:

Grrr!

Argh. Just came back to Iowa after three weeks today, and I was looking forward to seeing the new movie on my Tivo. Looks like I had a glitch, and didn't get ANYTHING for the past couple of weeks. So mad! Well, at least the dvd is out soon. And I got a 1958 Wilkins puppet at an antique store over the trip, so that should keep me happy until the dvd release...

I love my Tivo. I had to reset it, though, and I didn't know that I would have to unplug and replug the network adapter. It just stopped being able to connect to the network to get listings, and I was gone for three weeks. Argh. Anyway, I'm preoccupied with Star Wars anyway, so it will give me something to look forward to later in the summer.
