let's say that palisades toys got a license to make action figures based on the Super Mario Bros. games. the style of the figures were to match the style of how they looked in the recent gamecube games (yes, even if they only appeared in a nintendo or super nintendo game). the license covers super mario brothers 1, 2 & 3, super mario world, super mario world 2: yoshis island, the mario land games, mario 64, paper mario, mario sunshine and luigis mansion. although not in any of those games, you can also include waluigi, and it is okay if you want to include dr. mario (with the small germ creatures from the game). each series would have six figures (although there can be multi-packs), plus exclusives. the normal style would be: one mario figure (any variant), another good guy, a main boss character, and anybody else.

here is my list for series 1-6:

series 1
mario with hat, cape, feather, goomba and blocks (with floating stands).
luigi with hat, 1-up mushroom, koopa troopa, floating blocks (with clear floating stands), vaccume pack and beanstalk.
Boom-Boom with removable wrings, thromp and thrimps.
hammer brothers (2 pack) with hammers, floating blocks and stand.
goomba multi-pack (two regular goombas, tree paragoombas and six microgoombas)
lenny koopa with wand

exclusive:
fire power mario and luigi 2-pack with hats, flower, floating blocks and fireballs.

series 2
frog mario with blooper, small bloopers, boss bass, big bertha and small fish
yoshi with turtle shells, removable wrings and yoshi egg (note: this could have special repaints: every three cases could be a three-paint with yellow and red yoshis, while every other case can have one blue yoshi)
wario with hat, bag, gold coins and buzzy beetles.
wendy koopa with wand and candy
bullet bill multi-pack with bullet bill shooter
latigu with three spineys and three spiney eggs

exclusives:
frog luigi
racoon mario and luigi 2-pack with hats

series 3
sledgehammer mario with hammers
princess peach toadstool with crown, wand, letter from the princess and mushroom kids
bowser with pipes
triclyde with cobras, cobras shooting balls and cobras vases
lemmy with wand
parana plants multi-pack with pipes and various types of parana plants

series 4
mario in shoe with goombas in shoe
toad with ninjis and tweeters
birdos with eggs, fireballs and hawk face (this could be a three-paint)
larry koopa with wand
sledgehammer brother with giant hammer
giant goomba

series 5
tannooki mario with statue
proffessor e. gad with inventions
wart with veggie machine and veggies
mort koopa with wand
boo buddies multi-pack with small ghosts and big boo
fryguy with small fryguys

series 6
mini-mario and mini-luigi with giant purana plant
princess daisy
waluigi with hat, poisionous mushroom, tennis racket and golf club
mouser with bob-oms and red bombs
iggy koopa with angry sun
chomp multi-pack with chain chop, firechop, chomp-chomp and chomp

I used to love playing Super Mario Bros. on Nintendo. If they were to make a Bowser action figure, I would buy one and keep it at my workspace forever (because my last name is Bowser and sharing a namesake with a supervillain is cool to me for some reason). Beyond that, I wouldn't really care who they released. You're list looked pretty well thought out, Minor Muppetz.

yeah, I really like Mario. not as muhc as the muppets, but I am almost as knowledged on super mario bros. mario has a lot of cool bad guys, most of the characters are visually appealing, and mario is still popular with kids, so there should be a collectible super mario bros. action figure line. of course, i think there have been mario action figures made in the past, just not for collectors.

if a mario collection was made, i would hope that many of the super mario bros. 2 bad guys were included. many of them haven't been used since mario 2 (super mario all-stars and mario advance don't count), and I like all of the main bosses from that game (except clawgrip). Some enemies from that game have been used in other games, including shy guys, bob-ombs, and birdos, but most o them have pretty much been ignored when other games were made. :frown:

I love the idea of a SMB figure line, but I think a Super Smash Bros. line would have loads of accessories and variants! Something like this...

Series 1:
Mario with fireball, cape, removable hat, and mushroom.
Donkey Kong with barrel, Bob-om, and "!" box.
Ness with baseball bat, yo-yo, and Mr.Saturn.
Ice Climbers with Freezie, and Polar Bear.
Varient:
Mario

Series 2:
Luigi with green fireball, removable hat, Goomba, and Para Troopa.
Princess Peach with Toad, Umbrella, Golf Club, and Frying Pan.
Fox McCloud with blaster, deflector sheild, and Party Ball.
Samus Aran with "Screw Attack", Re-Dead, and poison mushroom.
Varient:
Princess Peach as Daisy.

Series 3:
Link with sword, bow and arrow, and bomb.
Zelda with sword, and elf.
Pikachu and Pichu 2-pack with Pokeball.
Falco with blaster and small spaceship
Varient:
Zelda as her alter ego(forgot her name...)

There ya go, there's still endless possibilties for this line!

as far as i know, princess peach toadstool and princess daisy are two different characters. I am not sure if peach ever became daisy in any way (such as in a disguise).

Boomerang Brother with magnetic helmet and two boomerangs

I'd like to see Toad ("Daddy, why does that kid have an umbrella on his head?") featured prominently.

BUT, I'd like to see the sidekicks and other characters from the Paper Mario series. I love Lady Boo, the little Chinese ghost with the bows and fan.
