I know what you mean, I don't know, mine were pretty oval - but I did something wrong, obviously. I wonder - does it matter if you use 4 vs. 5 panels? (or more, or less?)

I tend to use three ovals and one "figure 8" shaped piece. And they're not really ovals or 8s, they have flat tops and bottoms that create the neck and bottom openings. The figure 8 piece goes on the back and creates a butt by curving out on the lower half and inward on the upper half to create shoulder blades.

I suggest you experiment by cutting and gluing foam. Once it clicks. you'll pretty much be able to build anything out of flat foam.

You really have to play around with it and visualize in your mind "will this Work?" just do the best you can and naturally you will get better!!:smile:
