Some of the best b&w cinematography ever has got to be "Citizen Kane".

But other favorites in b&w:

"It's a Wonderful LIfe"
"Casablanca"
"Metropolis" (the original)
"Schindler's List"
"Stardust Memories"
"Raging Bull"
"The General" (Buster Keaton)
Any of the first seven Marx Bros. movies.

Good Night and Good Luck. Well, it's the only one I've seen...but I thought it was good. I heard Casablanca was good too.
