I'm not only a Trekkie--I'm an original Trekkie. Love William Shatner (can't abide his new show--too nasty for me), loved the original, second favoriite was DS9--incredibly complex, layered storytelling. All modern fandoms owe Trekkies big-time, because we no only invented media fandom--we did it without email, the internet and cell phones!!!

I'm somewhat of a Trekkie, though I really can't stand the original series. I like Voyager and DS9, but I absolutely love TNG; Picard is the ultimate Captain.

Big time geeker Trek fan-man here. I love them all. I'm glad that Shatner finally stopped taking himself so seriously and now seems to be having a blast making fun of himself.

seeing all of their conventions, parties, collections,
and especially their costumes. great to see dedicated fans


and i just found out it's Mr. Shatner's 75th bday!!!
