Well, it's not the same as a video- but at least here's a MP3 file of the "Cowboy X" cartoon on Sesame Street!!!
DUDE!!!!! YOU RULE!!!!!

i'd also love to see the bert/ernie episode where the count spends the night and keeps ernie awake all night long - it actually kind of scared me the next day when ernie's pupils are all tiny and he's walking around like a zombie!

and again, the animated short featuring the crack on the wallthat came to life

and, omg, W FOR WILHEMINA (sp?)

As ALF would say, "No problem! Ha!"

And by the way, at least some of those clips mentioned are on Youtube.

Here's Ernie meeting Tough Eddie (albeit in Dutch!)

Some of the others I remember seeing on there- but they may have been taken down- I'm not sure.

And for the person wanting to see the Hawaii episodes of Sesame Street, perhaps this link will bring back some memories.

The Muppet Wiki page does an awesome job of covering the details of those episodes, with pictures of the different clips. It was fun just wading through all the episode descriptions on there.

one of these things

I'm trying to find one of the "one of these things" skits. It was the one where the guy slips on the banana peel in the rain near the bench. I can't find it on You Tube. Do you guys know if it's available somewhere?

I mixed up 2 skits

I think I mixed up 2 skits. I know Maria was one of the voices in both though. There was some kind of music in the background. Anyway, I think she said “Is he going to slip on the banana peel?” It was raining and he had an umbrella, and a grey suit, I think.

I believe that sketch was entitled "What Will Happen Next?".

If I'm not mistaken, Gordon was a narrator (of sorts), & Maria was once again playing her now infamous "Charlie Chaplin" character. I believe Gordon was providing all the trials inflicted upon Maria (such as the banana peel), & Maria gets her revenge by pulling the rain cloud over Gordon's head, causing it to pour on him instead of her.

That is a classic sketch that I remember laughing every time I saw it!

As far as I know, that sketch isn't on youtube.com as of yet, but with the way new clips are being added daily, it can only be a matter of time!

I know this sounds crazy coming out of me but I would want to see Ol' Smokey sing "U Really Got A Hold On Me".

I figure to overcome this 20-year old trauma, the best cure for me is to see the clip again.

If it worked for "The Word Is No", then who knows what will happen for Ol' Smokey?

thanks

Thanks Chris! That is definately the clip I was talking about. I will keep checking You Tube. I've noticed that there have been a lot more clips lately.

I know that this was a lot sooner, but My Old Skool Sesame Street DVD is in the mail. They finally let me know a few hours ago. I'm so excited.
