You mean Labyrinth as in the maze use din the labyrinth?

Wasn't that a backdrop?

At the beginning, when Sarah enters the world of Jareth, you see the whole Labyrinth. That was a miniature combined with a matte painting (for the sky).

That would look awesome to have on my shelf! :smile:

oh right, the sepialike coloured like bit right?

Was there a model of the castle also? I'd love that.

Yes, they did a model for the castle too.

Its such a shame that all these pieses aren't out there for us all to see, so much work went into the making of the look of this film, and its mostly forgotten about, or like Hoggle, until recently, left to rot, I mean, does latex just dis-integrate over time? What about the masks from the film, will they just perish Laszlo? I'm assuming you know as you have huge talents in this area, does latex not last the test of time?

Sadly no. I worked with latex quite some time ago. Under normal air and temperature it will last max. 15 years. Foam latex will rot sooner.
