After 20+ festival screenings in 6 countries, The Lady from Sockholm, the world's first all sock puppet feature film, is now available on DVD. More info can be found on the film's website at www.sockholm.com

Please consider purchasing a copy for your family DVD collection, or as a holiday gift for kid's on your list. It's a film noir inspired comedy -- a sock noir -- and has played in children's festivals, puppetry festivals, and in top regional fests.

We are a small production, so word of mouth is very important. Please feel free to repost this message on other chat boards or blogs, or pass along info on the DVD's availability to your family and friends!

Thanks for reading this! Best to all!

thank you!

Hi Dan,

Thanks for checking out the DVD -- I see that you even gave us a plug on your blog! I really appreciate it.

As an fyi, I should have mentioned that all the sock puppets were made by Evy Berman Wright who is co-owner of Curious Moon Puppet Theatre here in Atlanta (http://www.curiousmoon.com). She had construction help from Carol Daniel, and many of the costumes were designed and sewn by Melissa Sandefur.

Evy and her business partner, Reay Kaplan, were also lead puppeteers. The other puppeteers were Vince Tortorici (who voiced and performed our lead, Terrence M. Cotton) and Annie Peterle.

Here's a link to the cast and crew credits -- http://www.sockholm.com/credits.htm -- let me know if you see anyone you know!

Lynn
