Thank you for your message, and for your interest in the Fraggle plushes.
We can certainly send you a set of Fraggle plushes next month.
The situation at the moment is that Barclays Bank here in the UK has an "exclusive" on the Fraggles (until 6 August). The bank is supporting the work of the Family Holiday Association this year (the FHA is a UK charity that supports low-income, disadvantaged families with young children by giving them the chance to take a short break).
Once this period is over, we will have the surplus of the stock, and will certainly set some by for you. I'll be in touch nearer the time (as a purely UK charity, we don't usually deal with overseas sales etc. so we need to work out the systems here, first - but it won't be a problem!)
Our reason for using Fraggle Rock characters was simply that they were among the characters suggested by the suppliers (who specialise in charity appeals of this kind). We showed a number of different characters to some of our supporters, friends and family. The Fraggles got the best response. Most people found them irresistable! Since there was also talk of a new Fraggles movie coming up, we thought that the timing was good too. We also took into account the fact that the people who remember Fraggles the first time round are now at an age when they are working and likely to have disposable income (very important as a fundraising criterion!)
