The sad thing is FP only have 16 coming to them and 18 on pre order so 2 people already wont be getting theirs straight away.
I sure hope I'm not one of the 2. I haven't heard anything from them yet. But then again I did not get any mesages about the shipping of Kermit and Animal from them either, I discovered that they shipped those by looking at my bank account.

Hi Lab Rat,

Did you get stung with any customs charges when it arrived?

Guys, first let me apologize for not posting this in a Kermit photos thread but I didnt want to divert attention from this thread as Gonzo was our last released replica but I wanted to quickly share these cute pics with you.

First the back story, I owned a Kermit with wire armature (that I have never seen mentioned here) that I bought from Hallmark back in 94'. It was pretty much identical to our new replica without separate finger, mouth, neck, and feet wires. But fabric and look was identical. My ex fiance had a 3 year old whom I became a real father to. Teaching him, Potty training, sign language, manners, and most importantly to us; I taught him his Muppets. My finace left our family last Aug. I gave her son, "my boy", Matthew, that Kermit because Kermit has always been in my life. Back in 1980 my folks had my studio pics taken as a 5 year old with my 1978 Kermit with velcro hands. I still have the jacket i wore in that photo. Kermit came back into my life in Dec with the new replica and having the big heart I have I couldn't help but pose him in some photos reminiscent of my year with Matthew. I hope you get a kick out of the pics. First is the pic of me from 1980. Could you tell?:embarrassed:

Here's a photo I set up today, just for my pals at Muppet Central. I do hope you like it:

Say Cheese!

So they can stand on their own.

So what's the stands for?

Is it recomended to use the stands? Will they fall apart in the long run if you pose them without stands?

Are they durable enough to stand on their own for a long period of time?
