Hi... I've been putting my Muppets figure collection in display form all this year... And I have a question.
Which desk came with The Newsman, and which came with Pops?
Thanks for the help.

The Newsman's desk should be a standard sort of desk for him to sit at Ed.

As for Pop's, from what I can remember, his desk sort of resembles a stand where people might buy their tickets for a show. It was apparently built into the building by the backstage door and he had a wall with a window in it where he sat at his desk to greet guests as they arrived.

If your model's desks are faithfully exact I expect they should look like that.

I hope I've helped you Ed.

Er, I meant the desks that came with each respective figure, hence why this thread is in the Action Figures section. Thanks though Marty.

Bill Bubble Guy must not have known that the two toy desks used the exact same mold. I think they even have the tops painted the same color, so the only way to distinguish them as far as I can tell is the color of the front and sides.

Pops' was the darker one, Newsman had the lighter one.

But very few people would catch the mistake if you got it the other way around, so just do what feels right for your display.

Hi, The Count! Pops' desk has the dark gray trim around the top, and is a darker brown, altogether. Newsman's is all light brown. :batty:

Newsman's desk should match the wall he came with if I remember correctly

I recently opened my final "backup" Newsman figure and can confirm that this is the easiest way to match it.
