I have the dog, and I must say that it is very good. It is an excellent puppeteer puppet. Which means it is very easy to operate.

Oh I think you can Chris. It just requires a whole bunch of learning and practice. Lots, and lots of practice. If you haven't already checked these out here are a couple of collections of free tutorial videos that can really start you off down the right path.

Paul Louis has a whole bunch of free videos out there and this series offers a nice basic starting place for puppet building. He also now has an ebook available on Making Money with Puppets.

Next up is Stiq Puppets. Daryl runs a TERRIFIC set of videos. You may not learn EVERYTHING you need to know to build and operate puppets but it is certainly enough info to really get you going in building and performing. His series in particular will teach you many of the skills needed to make puppets of the type the Pavlov's do.

Then there's the Puppeteers Unite collection. It is an excellent series and can be very helpful especially if you try using any of Project Puppets patterns. The series is very well done and growing all the time.

Yeah, me too. As I recall the gym bag I made fell apart the first time I used it. I am doing much better now though! Time, experience and motivation are all contributing factors. I think I might have done a lot better back then if I had been making a puppet instead of a stupid gym bag!

I've always been curious about their puppets, some of them look really good. I know they cost more money than some people have, but I think their prices are actually quite reasonable, especially since Blink says they are well made.
