A thought about about full episode dvds.

Although in the general market, I would have thought it's the inserts that people remember more and there would be less of a demand for just the street scenes on their own. Given the wealth and volume of material they are sitting on, I'd be in favour of full episodes. My thought (and I think...

Muppet Whatnot Workshop Puppets now available

Am I wrong or does it not actually tell you which parts are sold out? It just doesn't complete the order. Not that I can order as I'm outside the US but I'm still curious...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street 40 Years Hardcover Book

My copy arrived the other day and I'm absolutely loving it. The pictures are beautiful, it's presented wonderfully and with some really interesting nuggets of info and snippets of interviews. For 80s era fans who have the Old School sets

Yes, 130 would be a bit much. But I'd love to see sets of maybe 26 episodes, each featuring one of the letters of the alphabet as a main letter of the day. As well as loving it myself, I'd use it to help educate my daughters. I love the 10 episodes featured on the sets but it's almost shocking...

Who are your 3 favorite Sesame Street characters?

I'll add my faves as I'm new here. I don't even have to think about this as my faves come to me instantly. 1. Grover. In my view, the funniest Muppet. He cracks me up as soon as I see him and the sketches with Fat Blue in the restaurant are pure gold. 2. Bert. I think I love Bert because...

    Fave SST Songs

There are so many greats and they've all been mentioned but, if I had to pick a personal favourite, it would be 'I Believe In Little Things'. Such a beautiful song and there's something magical in the lyrics. It's lovely.

New Members: Please Post and Introduce Yourself

Just a quick hello and an introduction. I've just joined but have been a long time lurker on Muppet Central. Like, a really loooong time. I learned to read by watching Sesame Street, with the added side effect that it gave me an American accent as a child (I'm not American). I have since...
