There's a Hole In the Bucket, Dear Liza

This was just added to the official Sesame video site. It's just as funny as I remembered it! The last line is indeed cut, though. Oh, and it certainly sounds like Rita Moreno to me. I'm also a huge Electric Company fan, and at times I heard inflections of the Director, Pandora and regular...

Hey all! I've also got the collector's edition puzzle up -- with the lovely tin case. Muppet Puzzle Tin I was thinking of putting up my complete collection of MuppetZine, too, but wanted to gauge what kind of interest there might be for it. Does anyone remember this great little...

    Malicious destruction of property

Mike, I'm amazed by your detailed accounts of so many classic Sesame sketches. I always look forward to your posts. :excited: I've always been a little bit unsettled/ fascinated/ excited by the "wanton destruction of property," as you so succinctly described it, on Sesame Street. Several...

Getting to know the Sesame Street Animators

Sally Cruikshank, no way!! I am so impressed that you replied here. Your animations for SS deserve a collection all their own, and I'd be the first in line to buy it.

Should I buy Jim Henson The Works?

The Works is excellent: high quality pictures, tons of information on every Henson major (and a few minor) Henson project, and interviews with pretty much everyone involved. It's a real treat. :D

Performers in Ed Sullivan Muppet skits?

Re: the Glutton sketch. When the Glutton comes out to greet Ed at the end, that looks like Jim and Frank with him. Am I correct in assuming they both performed the Glutton whilst Juhl did the nut?

    Deena and Pearl

Deena & Pearl were a sort of female monster counterpart to Bert & Ernie in the early 80's. They were voiced by Karen Prell and Brian Muehl, and lasted only one season. I have a but a vague remembrance of them, so any pics or sketch details would be great!

    Elmo Has Two! DVD

I noticed that this DVD is going to feature "Hands, Ears, and Feet", but I don't recall the third segment ever being on SS. Is this a newly created clip for the DVD or just one that I missed?

Your favorite Ed Sullivan Muppet skits

I love Rock n' Roll Monster, as well as Monster/ Machine. I think the latter was done more successfully on Sullivan than on TMS.

Beautiful Day Monster appearances on "Sesame Street"

When Judy Collins was on in the mid- to late- 70's, she sang a song about fishermen, with some fishermen AMs, that mentioned going and getting some beer!
