I think that's a logical fallacy.

It makes way more sense that Disney and Henson are more or less right. Where are Steve's colleagues? When I saw Tyler Bunch had shared Cheryl Henson's post on FB, I realized that it's likely that Steve...
I have a friend named Shannon (she's in a wheelchair) who did a segment with Murray for this season. Does anyone know when (and if) it has aired yet? I missed yesterday and today.
I think it's entirely possible (and probable) that they could see a billion views in their sights and filmed this earlier this winter or late in the fall. It's not like this had to be done and released right after they made it. They held it until they passed the milestone.
And yes, it's a good...
While it's true that the voice is a small part of the performance, it still matters a great deal. People do identify with that voice. Dialogue is important. Otherwise, we'd have a lot more silent Muppet performances than we do.
I think Frank says 10% in a slight bit of hyperbole to counteract...
Just because it doesn't rise to the level of other high-profile scandals (it wasn't violent, it wasn't dog murder) doesn't mean that what is being accused here isn't serious. It's a false comparison.
Regardless of how she feels about Chris Brown or how you feel about her music and manner of dress (all red herrings here, cue Lew Zealand), she's his victim. There's powerful psychological things at play here and no one deserves abuse.
With respect, by definition, people who don't deserve forgiveness don't deserve forgiveness. And if they don't deserve it, I really don't care what they need.
But it's not my place to forgive anything. I wasn't harmed.
It's just, real talk here, guys...this is exactly the kind of thing that...
I don't think you can forgive someone until and unless they acknowledge they did something wrong.
Even then, forgiveness is something freely given and not something anyone can expect from everyone. I'm a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles whose main quarterback is Michael Vick. Some people have...
Yes, and calling him names isn't any better than calling the accusers names.
I question those who say they will stick by someone "no matter what", especially when one of those potential matters is horrifying. I prefer to be in the "reserving judgment" camp.
Always question the source of the...
I'm a Muppet fan like everyone else here.
Second, you're not engaging in a high-minded exchange of ideas if you are calling people names. It's childish to do that. There can absolutely be an intelligent discussion of this, but I don't think it can ever happen as long as people are dismissing...
Guys, I am frankly disgusted with all of the victim blaming going on here as well as the homophobic phrases like "Dude who looks like a lady".
It's one thing to question inconsistencies. It's quite another to, before you know anything about the situation, to slime an accuser and call him...
As Elmo will still be in the parade Thursday, I wonder which puppeteer gets the thankless task of performing Elmo (to Kevin Clash's prerecorded vocals).
He didn't do that. He said we don't know the facts, so we shouldn't judge either way. Engaging in blaming the alleged victim here is not constructive and it's also something we've been asked not to do.
He was disciplined by Sesame Workshop for inappropriate use of their email system.
You...
You don't know this person. How do you know he's a weasel? Hey, maybe he is. Maybe he isn't.
And, honestly, it's like like Kevin Clash is really helping the stereotype by befriending minors and having sex with them soon after they reach majority. He's admitted to that, at least. That's creepy...
Respectfully, only the second accuser has made his name known publicly. And just as it's fair to say "innocent until proven guilty", it's also fair to not blame the accusers. They may well be victims.
Look, as much as we all admire Kevin Clash's work over the years, none of us really know him...
This is very true and I'm quoting it to underline it.
Honestly, who knows what happened? We weren't there. What seems increasingly clear is that Kevin showed poor judgment on more than one occasion (Gay or straight, it feels icky to have a grown man having sex with a person he knew as a...
