    You can coat it with "Krylon Crystal clear" about 4 good coats should be good. Make sure you let each coat dry before you spray more coats. This should be a 2 piece mold front and back. if you are doing foam of any type you should also have a core to make it hollow for your hand.

    What is the better 3D print medium- Porcelain Vs Plastic ?

    PLA can break down over time but it will take many years. It is harder to glue parts together as well as if you do not glue/seal the surface you can get delimitation on parts that flex or are moved a lot.

    If it is going to be a durable puppet then go with ABS plastic. If you want something "Green" then you can go with PLA plastic. Porcelain is to fragile and would be heavy.

    That one will work fine. But why PVC ? It gives off chlorine gas when it is heated and is very bad for you. I would suggest polystyrene as it heats fast and forms tighter around the mold.
