Yeah, but they've been pretty slow at doing this. Season 2 of TMS is now available, but that's about 3 years after the release of Sesaon 1. Now compare that with what Sesame Workshop has done with Old School Sesame Street; The first set was released in November 2006, followed by the second set...
I just found that one on YouTube. I don't cry easily at things like this, but I have to admit this one brought me to tears as well:

This is great news! I have to say, even though I knew there'd be a volume 2 on the way, I didn't expect it to arrive so soon after volume one. Not that I'm complaining, mind you!
I hope "On The Subway" will be somewhere on this collection.
Episode #666? I wonder if that one was...
I don't think we'll see 2-D animation disappear completely for the reasons others have mentioned. I do think it's a shame though that classical animation will die out (if it hasn't already). For those that don't know -- classical animation refers to how animation was done before computer...
Probably. After all, they did make an appearance on the Christmas episode of 2004 hosted by Robert DeNiro, in which they offered to sing a Christmas song with Horatio Sanz. And then they were out on stage with the rest of the cast at the end, hamming it up with them as the credits rolled. Quite...
This is especially obvious in two of them: The first one (Peuta's darts) where Vazh gives Ploobis a chicken drumstick and he tries to take it and it seems to be stuck to her wrist. He fumbles with it and says "Let go of it, would ya?"
Then there was the one where Ploobis and Scred get drunk...
Oz also had another small part in "An American Werewolf In London". He played the American ambassador who comes to see David (the guy who survived the werewolf attack, thus later becoming one himself) in the hospital.
I'm glad to hear that. So far I haven't seen any stores here in Canada that have it on the shelves. At least not yet, anyway.
We all want to see more volumes of classic SS like this one in the future and the only way to ensure that happens is for sales of this one to do well enough on the...
I just got my mine yesterday. And Amazon said it would be delivered no earlier than December 8th, and no later than December 15th -- and actually got it on the fourth! (Miracles do happen!)
My thoughts? I have to say that overall I'm very pleased to finally see a DVD release that does...
I don't know. I read something not to long ago that said "Going to McDonald's for salad is like going to the crack house to get your vitamins."
That kind of makes sense to me. I mean, considering the nutritional value of a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder and Chicken McNuggets, and how the meat in...
He's marketing this on eBay as a "professional Muppet/Fraggle style puppet"?
He's just begging to have Henson company lawyers come down on him like a ton of bricks.
Yep. Noggin wasn't carried either by StarChoice or ExpressVu, so the only way you could see it in Canada is through purchasing a "grey market" satellite dish and subscribing to DirecTV or DishNetwork by acquiring a U.S mailing address. Or you could just have tape traded with contact in the U.S...
For TV broadcasts, yes that's true. If SW wanted to air anything with Kermit on a current show, they already have the rights. But the rights for a DVD release are usually different.
But I think it's a moot point now anyway.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you talking about the part where Prince Charming realizes he's lost his horse and tells Kermit to "shut up" when Kermit tries to console him?
Or is that just my childhood memory playing tricks on me?
If it's true, then I imagine they'll probably have to...
Indeed there was. I remember seeing one when I was about nine at a "white elephant" sale at my school. I wanted to buy it so badly, but I knew that if I did I'd get a lot of flak from my parents and teasing from my friends for still being interested in Sesame Street products at nine years of...
Yes, it looks like I may have been wrong (not that I mind at all)!
The Rapunzel clip was from one of the "Newsflash" skits, if memory serves correctly. :)
