I didn't mean to spoil it for anyone. It isn't a secret how Big Bird works. I think it was on the Sesame Street "Biography" that I first learned it. :) That was a GREAT special!

In the past 5 years or so, the SS format has become more structured. I liked it to be more random. It seemed they could fit in a lot more said clips. These days, we use it like a get ready for school clock. uh oh....Journey to Ernie, you better get moving...Elmo's World, time to get...
My mom was just wondering out loud how Bear can move his mouth so well. I suggested that the puppeteer's arm might be up over his own head, as with Big Bird, so the mouth is moved with the person's hand.
Is that right? Is that a question? thanks.
