    Sketchcards

I started doing some sketchcards earlier this year, here are a few that seemed appropriate for this forum. :) (All 3.5" x 2.5", done in marker.) Sweetums and the Max Rebo Band are available if anyone's interested, Audrey II has already found a new home. I'm available for commissions...

    FS: Some Palisades Muppets

I've reached "critical mass" with my toy collecting, so I've been cleaning, sorting, and trying to find stuff to purge. I'm keeping the "core" Palisades Muppet collection, but figured it was time to part with some of the variants & exclusives. Vacation Pepe MOC - $25.00 Movie Usher Scooter MOC...

Palisades WW Dr. Teeth, Jim Henson on eBay

Just wanted to spread the word on some of my eBay auctions, particularly the Wizard World Dr. Teeth, which I know was always a rare one! Dr. Teeth Jim Henson Vaudeville Statler & Waldorf Invisible Spray Fozzie Vanishing Cream Beaker George Lucas Stormtrooper They end Sunday...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

I really want to know what the deal with the Henson puppet is! At the worst, I fear it's going to be like the wedding set, maybe something just for Henson employees... but I don't think they'd tease us and show the artwork so publicly at Toyfair. It could very well be just an artist conception...

    Toy Fair Pics!

Awesome! *sigh*... let the wait begin... Nice to see Pepe along side the other figures, I think his scale works good. I don't know what the deal is with the smaller blue Rizzo, but I hope that's the size they're going to use for him. I had no idea the Newsman was so short! And what is...

Accessories for Tux Bunsen and Beaker?

So I was thinking about Tuxedo Bunsen and Beaker and I got to wondering if they would come with any accessories, and if so what they would be, and then I had an idea... How 'bout repainting the vanishing cream tube black and white and making it "Tux in a Tube"? Ya know, from the makers of...

    Did anyone see this?

These are nice! I agree with the comments on Sam's texture, but I guess that's being changed... his head is perfect, though! The only other thing I'd change is Gonzo's pose. He looks like he's running with the balloons, not hanging from them. It would be very difficult to bend your arm...

Series 3 Arrives: When and Where

Found series 3 last night! Very unexpected, didn't think these would start showing up around here for at least another couple weeks. Hadn't even started to think about going to look for them yet! Found 'em at EB in Emeralds Square Mall in Attleboro, MA! Got one of each except for Zoot...

So... uh... anyone seen Tomart's AFD #106?

Tomart's Action Figure Digest #106 pg. 18, l'il picture in the middle near the center of the mag... yup, that's me! Well, no, that's not actually me, but I made that (heh heh... "I made this!"). That picture kinda sucks but think of it as a sneak peek until I get some really good pictures...

    Treasure Planet

I saw it last weekend and I really enjoyed it. It totally succeeded where Atlantis failed in terms of trying to be an action-adventure animated film. The mix of CGI and traditional animation was really good, too. The one part where they messed it up is with the space whales... they were WAY...

Star Wars Episode II on DVD

To get back to Phillip's original question... I watched "From Puppets to Pixels" last night, the only extra feature I've had a chance to watch (besides the commentary, which I listened to while I was working on... a thing... ). A short vintage shot of Oz performing Yoda on the Empire set at the...

    Roger Rabbit DVD News

I remember seeing that special, and would love to see it again. I'm hoping it's included on the DVD, no matter what they decide to call it. I remember them showing the stages of Jessica's performance animation (the final step being the lighting and computer generated sparkles...) and shots of...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Ken, thanks for that info on Palisades and the DC license. I wondered about ever since you said a little while ago that "Palisades probably wouldn't pick up the license", it's always nice to know the reasoning behind such decisions. I have to wonder though, if Sideshow had put out some sort...

Please sign the "Save Roger Rabbit" petition

For anyone who's interested, the soundtrack to WFRR was recently re-released. It's been out of print for years, and I had given up on finding it (I traded for a cassette dub of the CD a couple years ago, but just not the same, ya know?) so I was shocked when I was casually walking through the...

    I need a little help...

There WERE Far Side prototypes made... they were in an Action Figure magazine a year or so ago. If no one around here has seen them, I'll see if I can find the magazine and do some scans. You do realize how BIG these would be? Even the Matrix, which would be a really cool prop to have...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

I'm still working on the Skeksis. I do have a full picture of the work-in-progress but I haven't put it online yet... I'll try to get to it one of these days. The only other JHC character I've sculpted is Kermit, which I did way back in the summer of '98... way before the Palisades stuff, and...
