Was anyone ever at The Henson Studios?

I was just there last Saturday, but the place was covered with paparazzi; apparently Gwen Stefani was doing a fashion show there so there was no chance of getting in. Call ahead!

TV Alert: Muppets on Dancing with the Stars November 15

I think they did. On their way out they all high-fived Sam and Bunsen.

TV Alert: Muppets on Dancing with the Stars November 15

I came here just to say this! Also Kermit dancing to Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and then shuffling.. The best.

Muppets at Dancing with the Stars

On Tuesday the Muppets are going to appear on Dancing with the Stars with their own dance number to the song "Life's a Happy Song" from the new Muppet Movie. I know because I was there! They just finished filming and it's a great number with a ton of the Muppet characters and professional...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

I'm not sure which banner you're talking about, but you do see pictures of Jim Henson among other Muppet pictures. He was never actually mentioned, however. I don't remember ever going to a preview screening that tells you how the movie scored. After the movie is over the whole audience is...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

I would put them in order of screentime.. Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Scooter, Animal, Miss Piggy, Rowlf, Bunsen, Beaker, Floyd, Dr.Teeth, Sweetums, Sam, Zoot, Lew, Crazy Harry, Statler, Waldorf, Pepe, Janice. I hoped, but no Bean Bunny or Emily Bear that I saw. No.. There are nods to them, but...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

I'm happy it's making people happy! :) Prepare to be happy. This movie is definitely perfect for everyone. (Including your nephews) I didn't spot Big Mean Carl or any other post 1990s characters, but if you do, he doesn't say anything. Unfortunately, Thog has no speaking lines...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

Alright, let's see if I can plow through these. Yes. I'm not sure if you're looking for spoilers or not, but there are definitely references to past Muppet movies. From the very beginning you see The Muppet Show footage. I think it was written great. While Thog doesn't have any lines, Uncle...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

Any time, and thank you! It was a great movie, and I'm glad I'm lowering some people's shoulders. For me, my Muppet-ranking would start with The Muppet Movie, The Muppets Take Manhattan, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Great Muppet Caper, Muppet Treasure Island, Muppets from Space, Very Merry...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

The bits of Jason Segel used in the main trailer are all cuts the most energetic seconds he has in the movie. He's not actually that goofy, as they leave that to the Muppets. As slapstick as it seems, it's really not as it is in the movie. Yes. Walter and the 80's robot are the only new Muppet...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

There's no special effect moment like that, but expect very well done full body shots. The blue screening wasn't completely done yet for this screening, but overall the special effects were nice. No arm-wires to be seen anywhere.

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

No go on all of them. Without Brian Henson sadly I didn't expect Sal or Johnny. There might be a little Clifford somewhere that I missed, but other than that, no.

Well, at least in this movie Piggie was a lot more to herself and secluded, which is rather incomparable to any Piggie. What was added on was deeper emotion. But she'll get her "KERMIEKERMIEKERMIE"s out.

justabit Well, you can be happy that he gets his part of the story.

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

No worries at all. But I would say.. Fan to a fan, that you really should wait. There aren't many spoilers that could really ruin the movie for you, but just hold out the extra three months and do your best to avoid them and it'll be worth it then.

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

The Electric Mayhem was perfect. Unfortunately I don't remember Janice having any lines. None of what's on the Green Album was in the movie. There was a part that reminded me of the huge old every-muppet endings that almost got me there, really pulling on the memories. It gave me goosebumps...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

Except for the 80's robot.. All the humor seemed rather timeless. Except for a song that they sang, the Moopets is what I liked the least. But I think that's how it's supposed to be. That's hard.. Positively, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I was surprised at, for some points, the...

    "The Muppets" first preview screening

Muppets that get their own scenes are Fozzy, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, Animal, Bunsen & Beaker, Rowlf, and the rest is montaged. I did. It mostly seemed like all good Muppet humor. I think I laughed the most during what they did ala The Muppet Show.

Yes. Definitely not. Have no fear, this is their movie.
