What sketches scared you as a kid?

I recall an early 70's cartoon with an overloaded elevator. I think a gorilla was in there among many other people/things. It plummeted down through the shaft, and scared me a little bit. I do not recall what the point of the cartoon was. Anyone remember this?

Looking for the film "Traffic Light"

I'm really happy with the Old School DVD. Almost everything from those days was good. Funny thing is, the Traffic Light film was a mild letdown because I had hyped it up so much in my mind. The best part may be the sales pitch reel. That is a great piece of television history, even if it...

    Your Sesame Street Era

Like Fuzzygobo, I was born in '68, and I'm from NJ (go figger). Anyways, thanks to my older brother, I was probably watching Sesame Street all the way back in 1969. SS is part of my earliest memories. I'm not sure when my SS viewing waned...probably in the late 70's.

Looking for the film "Traffic Light"

jrod, thanks for replying, but no, that isn't the one. The film I remember had two boys (off camera) narrating a sequence of scenes showing traffic lights. At the end, one of the boys says something like, "Did you ever wonder what it would be like if there were no traffic lights?.. THIS!"...
