Went to Toys R US yesterday and spotted a pink what Not Muppet kit.... When I got home and checked FAO I noticed that they also have a yellow and Purple Body type now.... Not sure if these are new or if we just haven't noticed recently.

Target has muppet, magnts, notebooks, pencils and pencil holders as well as socks at target. Now My experience is that no all targets gett he same items so happy hunting. The pictures they used were pretty good too (No Fozzie with weird scarfs)

I picked this up at Barnes and Noble. Has a very (extremely) light environmental message. It was $5 and the art by Amy Mebberson is amazing. Also Adult Skeeter is in the background planing trees with Scooter on one page. Nice read for the kids and it came with stickers...

So I had this crazy idea. Why don't we film videos where we lip sync with one of our Puppet friends to the Man or Muppet song. Figure it would be a great way to celebrate the oscar nomination (and eventual win) of the song, especially since I'm sure its something we all here can relate too. Okay...

If you have been following the fan a thon they have now listed free preview screenings. It looks like they filled up quick though. I got my tickets. It will be Saturday the 19th it seems.

The CBS morning show (don't even know what it was called) was filming at FAO Schwarz on Saturdeay. One segment had Fozzie putting together a what-not at the actual workshop. It was cut but I only saw about a minute. Does anyone know if there was more to this muppet appearance?

This group is trying to make a world record for the most puppets gathered in one display. I don't know if anyone is participating in this but you can find info at www.millionpuppets.com. My 4th grade students made some puppets using a pattern from John Kennedy's "Puppet Mania" book.

I got to be on live tv with my puppet danny... They were having an audition for the local nbc station forcaster for a day contest and I thought it would be fun to do. Anyways I auditioned (which was uncomfortable because they wouldn't let me hide from view and just show the puppet but oh well)...

I saw a pretty funny comercial during Drive last night. It was for dies Mountain dew and it was something about how it is illegal to perform window puppet shows in New York. The police riot squad breaks in on this guy and his puppets. Pretty funny stuff. Unfortuanatly thats the only time I saw...
