Hi Phillip.
Kind of you to look into this.
I unsubscribed the old address as well as subscribed again with the new one. I guess that should take care of issues, but I'll let you know in case it doesn't.
Thanks again!
Joris
Hi,
I have made an update of the email address connected to my account here on Muppet Central, but I'm still receiving the MC mails on my old address.
The new email address is there when I check in my User CP, so I guess the change was saved fine. Can somebody take a look and fix this? I'm...
It’s been a while I have posted anything in this forum. I love the Muppets but that doesn’t mean I feel compelled to talk about them every day as many of you seem to do ... :)
It must be age.
This topic is a good one, though, and I guess that Muppet Central is the best place on the world wide...
Hey Brian ... your stuff is/was kinda new to me but now I have watched a few episodes of Emperor Palpatine and man, that puppet ROCKS. Sorry if this doesn't really belong in this particular thread, but I wanted to have it said ... :)
Your episodes are quite some fun too, there's a big many good...
Hey! ... Are you sure about that? They actually OWN these episodes?
Does that mean that they could release them on DVD if they'd want that? In that case I need to get writing them, not Disney!
:sing:
Hehehe ... I was help by good Lady Fortune on this one. I picked up a set mint in the box two years ago on the FACTS convention over here in Belgium.
(If you like some info about that: www.facts-convention.com).
And now the real beautiful thing about it ... I only paid it 25 EUR (about 35...
I also have the Fozzie Bear and Gonzo from the Long John Silvers Muppet Winter Wonderland set up for trade now!
Kermit and Piggy from that same set are off my wants list in the meantime.
Got the DVD and watched it in the meantime ... I'm glad I picked it up. Real good stuff all-over.
By the way, the gags that came back in the Muppet Show were mostly done over, I noticed ... really quite interesting to see where some stuff was used first and how that was done.
:sing:
Yeah, I'm kinda hoping that too. I set myself a max price I want to spend on a collectible and then stick to it. So far, given enough patience, that has never let me down, so ... I can wait some more for this little guy too.
:sing:
You all probably won't be surprised that I got myself one in the meantime ... :)
Now it's gonna be a long week waiting for this one to arrive in the mail ...
:sing:
Thanks for that already ... I took a quick look at the MC article -I should have known that something like could be found on here- and I noticed that some stuff returned in the Muppet Show seasons.
Mahna-Mahna I recognized, for one thing.
Hey guys,
I saw this one on eBay but didn't know if it is worth it picking up. I don't find all that much info about it so I was wondering if you could help out.
What's on this DVD? And is it any good?
Thanks already!
:sing:
I know this doesn't actually sound very encouraging, but if everybody would be doing the same as you, the boys at Disney would understand there's some bucks to be made of releasing Muppet movie soundtracks. And that's where it counts ...
If not for stuff like this, what option do we really...
Here's the ones I found and wrote to ...
service@disneystore.co.uk; guest.services@DisneyShopping.com; DMCAcqTitles@MovieClubInfo.com ...
And if you happen to find more contact addresses, I'd be happy to hear from it ... ;)
That's not very surprising, aye? Only now the real money-making Disney factory is behind the Muppets and they just know how to market things.
Don't underestimate the power of good marketing ... :D
But I think you guys are funny ... sure, over here in the forums you can express your feelings...
Well ... to be honest, I can't complain too hard about the availability of Muppets figures over here. I then mean the vintage PVC's, cuz' the Palisades figures never ever showed up here.
Of course you can't get them new, but they're abundant enough in comic or collectibles shops and then the...
Heheheh ... did you know the Smurfs are by origin ... Belgian?
The Smurfs never really have been away from Schleich. The Muppets ... now there's another story.
Oh! But of course! Eric ... now the mental puzzle pieces all fall together! I swore I had seen that nick before already ... LOL.
Outbidding me is not really such a big issue, even if I was sometimes frustrated about it in the heat of the moment. I remember missing out on a couple of PVC's, but...
Hey ... I also kind of "know" the winning bidder. Muppetperson is very active on eBay for Muppet collectibles and he has kicked my @ on many auctions for Muppet items already. He must be a real die-hard collector because he's going after virtually everything.
I'm wondering if he (or she) is...
