Actually that is a very polite and poetic description of his smell, to me mud does not have that much of an offensive odor unless you're talking about swampy mud (Phew!)
He occasionally takes a mud bath and he eats (if I recall well) ice cream with sardines among other things... I guess the resulting aroma will be pretty like garbage.
Weird "Crack on the wall" clip
If anyone can post this old clip I'll appreciate it so much. Memory is a bit vague but I have been trying for ages to see an animated clip featuring a crack on a wall that morphs into a monster, let me tell you it was the source of many nightmares for me as a kid...
Those 5 dancers were also my SS crushes. I also had a huge crush on Maria- she still is very beautiful, Gina is quite attractive too. Actually, there were so many!
Thanks for the info! Someone told me that it sounded like the group Blood, Sweat and Tears. My recollection of their vocals are not good but it may be a possibilty.
Does anyone out there remember this animated clip? Possibly mid 70's, I saw it on youtube not too long ago but it seems that it was discontinued. I loved it! Does anyone know did the vocals for that song or the band for that matter? That was a really cool song.
I loved the Me/Yo song, it was on youtube but I haven't seen it in a while now.
Maria sang a cool song with counting in Spanish from 1 to 10 in the 80's, really catchy tune. "uno, dos, tres..cuatro..cinco..seis"
I also remember some fruits on a table singing in Spanish and English, probably...
How about Lena Horne?
Though she wasn't a cast member on Sesame Street, when she sang that song "Not easy being green" with Kermit...Man whatta set of pipes she has huh?! She definitely was one of the great guests that came on SS.
Wow, a lot of memories you bought to my attention. I recall the "The sound of the letter A" as a sketch shown on TV a long time ago, that was with big Bird and some anything muppet I think. But as for the other songs I"m not too sure, but all in all this was an unbelievable album- great part of...
Not too sure but..
....was this skit with the Count has something to do with a class in Transylvania with 10 students; I vaguely remember the song but part of it had lyrics something like:
"There's Gregory and Sue, that makes number 1 and 2;
I'll count Boris and Igor, that makes number 3...
Not sure of the actual titles but...
...I think a couple of Joe Raposo's songs are:
* Trying (and trying again)
* He had a part in the High,Middle and Low song (its on youtube)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7V6AbyxL2xk
* Being a pig
* Look at this (its also on youtube)...
Here they are...

"Max with his Axe" was another one of those painful looking clips, you're right about that one for sure. BTW, the wallpaper clip is on youtube in case you haven't seen it in years.

There were some animated clips that made me feel unsettled, these came out during the 70's and 80's:
* There was one about the letter V on the sycamore tree and it landed smack-dab on a guy's knee. A bit gory if you ask me.
* Another one was a very short clip of a guy being plastered with...
There are probably only 2 Miami Mice skits posted on youtube but they are so funny! Does anyone know who did the voices for these characters, I think the characters were "J.P" and "Tito". I laughed so hard when I saw the Miami Mice skit with Ernie mistakingly pronouncing the spanish word...
